Just made PO payment at NY, but the Yen exchange rate is terrible, almost 1:1 with US dollar!!! I think Nippon-Yasan is the worst after eBay when it comes to relisted prices!

I respect your logic. But if you are a stickler to relative scale ultimately you’ll be upset with lots of toy lines. I mean, because no one will be able to keep you happy with any release of gunbuster or Danguard Ace. Lol Haha! Yea, I get your point. Bandai's Mazinkaiser is always taller than Grendizer and that's why I display SRC Kaiser next to GX-04 only! Of course, I can't ask for actual ratios but they should add/subtract at least 5mm between the mechas according to their database scales.

Actually, it appears a lot smaller. I wouldn't be surprised if it's only around 15~16cm tall, considering it's bundled with Spazer. Hope it's at least as tall as the Mazinkaiser though. Uh, oh! You know what? If this Grendizer is shorter than Mazinkaiser (which is wrong), I ain't buying it. Companies should RESPECT the actual super robot scales. 真ゲッター1 Shin Getter 1: 55 meters グレンダイザー Grendizer: 30 meters マジンカイザー Mazinkaiser: 23 meters We are buying super robot models not anime illustration!

Now, I have to get both Mazinkaiser and Shin Getter! I knew Grendizer was going to be next in the line. I hope he will be 19cm height, to stand in the mid. of Mazinkaiser [18cm] / Shin Getter 1 [20cm] Actually, I have requested these measurements by email from Sentinel in January 20th. Sight! More money to spend.

This is an amazing idea and forever will be appreciated !! Second the idea If it doesn't fit, I can ship you my fireblaster, later -- whatever you are creating, it will be surly better than Bandai's crap with their GX-75! Thank you very much! I really appreciate it. MAZINPOWER!

I want this so bad, but I think it's just a bit overpriced. For the moment, my SRC will do fine Indeed, it is overpriced. The only way that would push me buy him and Mazinkaiser, if Sentinel decided to make a Riobot Grendizer! I'd form my fav. Nagai Riobot trio then.

💡 Brother!!! Could you please create a 3D Printing file with the Fire Blasters (chest plates) themselves so we could print them in red hard acrylic on Shapeways and insert the metal pins you've already created into them?!!!That was in fact my original plan. The problem is the parts are not going to be super smooth like the real deal. The other problem is going to be to match the paint. That’s why I did only the pins. I can give it a try and try to make the plates but I don’t think you are going to be satisfied with the results. I’ll let you know as soon as I have some time to sit down and draw the new plates. Probably during the weekend depending on my work load Now, we have HOPE!Thank you very very much, bro. We won't lose anything giving it a try! It's a nightmare knowing that we own a SOC Mazinkaiser, while we aren't able to display him because of that lil' damn plastic piece. I am not sure why wouldn't it be smooth? Acrylic plastic should be smooth. If 3D printing can't give us such a result, then, I might try laser cut on a smooth piece of acrylic plastic; following your design. As for the paint, metallic red paint spray would do the job! I think your biggest challenge would be to design the fire blasters in a way that will not hinder the middle Z piece from going all-through! Good luck and really tons of thanks for helping us, bro.

At the end of the day, it all comes down to the SOC GX-71. It's the definitive version of Voltron. If people are getting just one Voltron, the SOC is the one to get. KOB was popular partly because it was before GX-71. And this V2 is popular partly because the SOC is sold out everywhere. I know I will never regret not getting this because I already have the SOC. I do give credit to Icarus on making a cool looking Voltron, but at the end of the day, if anyone is saying this KOB V2 is superior than the SOC, in my opinion they are out of their minds. This KOB V2 is great for people who want multiple representations of Voltron, with the SOC as the centerpiece. On the other hand, it could be true that not a lot of people seem to be concerned about the licensing issue. But it could be partly due to ignorance, because of false information in reviews, lack of truth from vendors, and confusion at best elsewhere on the internet. Here on RJ, when we talk about licensing issue, we get complaints about it. How else are the words going to go out about how Icarus lying about its legitimacy? I do hope that the SOC gets released again in the near future so everyone can get a crack at it. I disagree! Infinity Gokin ∞01 was and is still a BEAST, an aggressive futuristic ver. of GoLion, a kickass warrior! United Gokin UG-00 is a mix of an upgraded Infinity Gokin ∞01 × more anime design + awesome paint job. SOC GX-71 is a fine piece that looks closer to the anime...and that's all, but it comes as a 3rd choice for me. Want me to say it in my gangster mode? KOB is the manly-lookin' GoLion, SOC is the sissy-lookin' Voltron. And, it's not because one got soldout! You've went outta your mind when you said we are outta our minds.

Guys, kindly, if you do not mind... ✋ enough talking about licensed or not! I feel this topic is ruining the thread. It's an amazing figure and that's what counts since other companies (with licenses) didn't give us such an awesome style like Mad Toys/Icarus for years. Please...

you can contact Icarus thru fb page "Icarus toys". I've ask them the same question in regards to vehicle voltron and the response is they working on it. hope it will be ASAP.
Dang Thats great news! I hope they make a Dairugger. He's missing link in my collection. Should we all start messaging Icarus? 😂 It would be so helpful if all of us send www.facebook.com/icarustoys/ messages about Voltron Vehicle Force! Yes, please do. Here's a reply from Icarus regarding Vehicle Force:

I have both but decided to let madtoys go. The difference in paint and articulation makes me go with icarus all the way. Is there is a website address or some contact info written on the box of Lion Force so we could contact Icarus and findout if there'll be a Vehicle Force on the way as well?

I cannot have both Infinity Gokin and United Gokin figures! I may only have one.
So, my question to those who own both figures is: should I sell my Mad Toys Infinity Gokin and get the Icarus United Gokin or should I keep the Mad Toys one and skip Icarus?
I know all the differences between them, but, I need to hear the answer from those who have both figures in hand, please. Thank you.

OK, sorry about the late reply. First of all it’s good to see you back, I hope you are doing better health wise. Ok, the pin part.... my advice is to sand the part, preferably with a rotary tool and a fine sand drum if posible, to get rid of all the glue and get a flat surface. I would then just glue the new part over the old part and save myself a headache. The pin is just 1mm thick, I don’t think it’s going to affect how it looks much. Try holding the pin in place with some tape and insert it on the figure to see if it works. If it does, then just snap the pin on the other plate and repeat the process. Again, I don’t think the extra millimiter is going to cause a significant change. But try with the tape first and if you like the result, glue for a permanent result. Go easy with the glue! You can always add more if the part detaches but it will be a nightmare to fix if you over glue. Let me know if this helps 💡 Brother!!! Could you please create a 3D Printing file with the Fire Blasters (chest plates) themselves so we could print them in red hard acrylic on Shapeways and insert the metal pins you've already created into them?!!!

Bandai released a $200 robot that breaks and hasn’t done anything about it?! Yes, and they should have called it f**kinkaiser!
