its an awful move honestly, you know how many Jet ScranderS hover\jet pilderS we got ? at least 10 and most of it is setting inside the box i love Bandai but im getting tired of the TWE move every time, and its not even worth to be a TWE item, if its a full figure then i might look away but just for additional small parts that they could include with the original release in the first place its just unprofessional i want all of your money move, i hope they rethink that in the future, its not like their other projects is not selling well or they rarely have a hit product That's because your looking through the glasses of a non-Japanese resident. If you were living in Japan ordering a TWE would be like ordering a pizza, where you put your order in and it just shows up at your door a few months later. Granted I do accept that the price we pay as non-Japanese residents is unfair but I do understand why. My only gripe would be if they made it open to other countries like they did with the TWE Spazer where other residents besides the Japanese could order one straight from Bandai, but I'm guessing that was a one time deal. Could they have included all VS's set with the original release? Maybe, it would have driven up costs and quite honestly I personally don't want anything from the VS set except maybe the little statue.

Besides the parts swapping what about the QC? How's it feel in-hand? Does it feel like a SOC?

I don't mind parts swapping, this figure will basically be on a shelf and won't be touched after I'm through the initial fiddle period. It does look like it makes for great action pictures though.

My SOC book shipped so hopefully once I get I can see if I can get more info about this like size and stuff. It has to be bigger than Great Mazinger so I do see a price increase, plus the Spazer will most likely be the single most expensive accessory pack in the history of the SOC/DX SOC line easily unless it comes with it in which case I will be working a ton of overtime lol. Luckily I'm betting it won't be out for a few years.

The head's too small, it looks almost as SRC. I'm not liking its head sculpt either, the lower part of mouth should be larger. I hope its body proportion is more in line with DX SOC Mazingers, and its head scult as perfect as Great Mazinger. It's a little beer bellyish too, but it is still just a drawing I'm sure once they get to the prototype stage they will tweak the proportions for an actual 3 dimensional product and not a drawing.

As far as I know their two separate companies, but who knows I'm sure personnel move from company to company all the time.

I might, it depends if I get their Devastator but Toyworld has a kinda iffy reputation when it comes to their stuff.

In case anyone is looking for a comparison. That's a clear example of Japanese design vs American vs Chinese. Not being mean or anything but if you see enough toys and know which country designed them you do see little design trends or patterns that I find interesting.

I wonder if potentially this could be the best selling SOC ever, it seems like fans across the world want one of these.

I'm hoping that the prototypes and drawing aren't old and the figures got shelved.

There are threads about it in the Gundam section.
