This is as close as you're going to get, Miracle Productions Giant Vinyl Collection Goshogun: www.collectiondx.com/review/2008/goshogun_0 Still reasonably easy to get, don't overspend for it as they are not that rare/desirable.

KingboyD might know, he loves the Bullmark stuff. I only really know the Godzilla variants from the line.

I agree. As time goes on stuff will hit its peak, the only stuff that may hold the value well is super perfect/unused items or the super rare stuff. Usually what happens as we age is that people will pay less for things as there may be less collectors around, not many new collectors, people lose interest or other things take priority etc. This is what is happening with my dad and some of his collection of 1960's slot cars.
Another big thing is wealth or disposable income. If you're rich, you'll still probably spend a lot on your hobby if you still collect because it won't matter to you. If you are just a regular guy, as long as you're expenses are reasonable and/or you're retired, you'll probably still buy a reasonable amount of stuff. If your expenses later in life get high, you may buy less, and others in general just may lose interest and stop collecting and basically sell whatever they have left before they have no value (if their kids don't want the stuff for example).

I would not use solvents. Rubbing alcohol can dull paint a little but usually it's in certain circumstances. Try on a junker, but hold off on using it on yours for now.
You both have stuck godsigmas? I have two popy versions in box and mine are not stuck. God sigma has pretty generous space around the foam. I have also not had a godsigma discolor.

Mach Baron hasn't been released in the US yet. Kind of. A lot of what I am going to mention is on YouTube as well, you just have to search it correctly, but if you want physical copies, keep reading. ---------- Let's start with Red Baron! You can get the US DVD re-release of Red Baron on Amazon, less than $10 if adding to prime, and $8 if you are not Prime and choose standard shipping with no tracking. All are from 3rd party sellers. This is the re-release by Mill Creek, they do budget dvd and re-releases but quality is good. There was an earlier US DVD release by BCI/Ronin Entertainment (they folded), you could check around locally for this version (may be super cheap) or the mill creek one. Maybe try F.Y.E. or a similar movie/music store in your area locally (don't go to Best Buy as their stock is narrow, not sure if Fry's has a big DVD selection). You can try anime/import shops as well. BCI/Ronin and Mill Creek also released/re-released Iron King (more like ultraman) as well. I also had the budget DVD set of ultraman that you see on Amazon search results (the first release had more discs, the second had less discs and heavier compression. There's a review online that tells you which set is better for $5. The bottom line is that these are all budget DVDs to begin with so don't pay more than $5-10 for them. Here is the Mill Creek Amazon link for Red Baron, but you may want to try to find the earlier release: Super Robot Red Baron: The Complete Series www.amazon.com/dp/B002WBYDMQ/ref=cm_sw_r_cp_api_HbHBAbXJX7QVM---------- Ok, Mach Baron time! Now, as far as Mach Baron, you could buy the Japanese release (Japanese audio only, no subtitles - but you need a multi region DVD player or need to hack your DVD player to be region free (I have done this to mine for some U.K. and Japanese dvd I have). You could also look for the bootleg release or you can get this Spanish language Mach Baron release (NO subtitles, a movie cut, not the whole series) locally or on Amazon below - NOTE: if you buy it from Amazon, it's not a real DVD, it's one they rip and manufacture, something they have been doing on titles that won't have a lot of interest. Here is the DVD-R Amazon link for the Spanish version (I know it says mazinger but it's Mach Baron), you could message the third party sellers that offer it to see if theirs is the original release or the DVD-R version. Mazinger-Z, El Robot De Las Estrellas www.amazon.com/dp/B00ZSODHQ2/ref=cm_sw_r_cp_api_VvHBAbNTMPB6EThe Spanish version above is also on YouTube, in full, on many channels - just search the name. There was also a German release of the Spanish version called "the iron super man". It's in German with English subs and can be streamed on Amazon prime. The Amazon link for this isn't copying right, just go to Amazon and type in "the iron super man" (make sure super and man are two separate words or it won't come up).

The film should just peel off the rubber - but before you do that, I'm curious as to which rubber parts on which pieces? Also, what painted areas? Styro reacting with paint isn't too common.

I am quite happy to see Gold Lightan getting a re-release. I had the Popy with the black forearms and spring loaded fists as a kid, and I slapped a Decepticon sticker on it! Haha. I got it as a gift, from grandparents who knew I loved Japanese robot toys, and would pick up something for me whenever their flight stopped over Narita airport. I don't remember what happened to the toy, but I'm def getting this for the nostalgia and that it makes me think of my grandparents who are gone. You know you could just get the reissue of the popy from a few years back, right?

I've bought a few - some of the legends scale, the pretenders (headmasters from the previous lines) - kind of just holding on to what I've picked up while I wait to see what takara will do. Like the pretenders though, and the mini headmasters from the previous line.

Great that you found it! I was about to ask if you wanted hi-res pics of my keeper one (I don't have a scanner) until I got to the parts bin. You have saved a lot of money by finding it though.

Thank you for making a thread about this! I was slightly disappointed that at the reveal no one was making a big deal about this, but I am super excited. I have been looking on google but was only seeing the two reveal pics everywhere and no other info.
Technopolice 21C did not do well and became the inspiration for Bubblegum Crisis (a fantastic OVA mini series of you haven't seen it!).
I am a fan of the old Aoshima models, I'm getting more of them as I find them, and since picking up the Hi-Metal Dougram (my first purchase in the line), I can't wait to get these. You don't have to talk to yourself anymore lol.

I may have a spare. Not all of mine came with the catalog.
Ed our admin, KingboyD, or repairtechjon may be able to confirm if the booklets were included or not. I don't think they started until year two.

I had an MIB unused goggle v and actually sold it to a member here a while ago. While it was beautiful and a really streamlined toy I never cared for the goggle jet (felt like an afterthought) but the tank and dump were pretty cool. When it's mint, the paint and chrome look great and in bot mode he is very streamlined.
Tank is super fragile as the main plate to form the chest is black plastic but it tucks the snap hook tightly under a blue plastic tab but if you are careful then you will be able to transform him fine. If you've never seen one though, this vehicle is made up of a lot of the blue plastic.
I just felt that goggle did not have much play value overall compared to some of the other godaikin robots so I decided to sell mine. It is definitely a great toy though, especially if you like the sentai bots.

Here is the product description/specs listed at Big Bad Toy Store for the Mazinkaiser from the Moderoid series, I haven't found a description for god marz yet. There is an interesting choice of materials, pre-colored runners (similar to bandai, I assume), and pre-painting already done. The kit can be further painted as well. It's a bit small, just under 6 inches tall. I won't get the Mazinkaiser but I am anxious to see unboxing pics. I feel like this will be a cross between a bandai gundam full color model and a pre-assembled tamiya sportscar model as far as the way it is packaged. www.bigbadtoystore.com/Product/VariationDetails/66167Product Description A brand new Mazinkaiser begins... I may have one. May. I know I have manuals for godaikin combattra and god marz in stock but may not have any spare Voltes V. I'll try and check sometime over the weekend.
