Unlike Macross, Gundams aren't restricted by licensing issues.
If you can wait for a bit, I believe Bluefin & the other Tamashi subsidiaries always bring in a fair amount of stock for their respective regions. I live in Asia and have so far been able to snag the Metal Build / Composite lines fairly easy from local hobby shops without worry of them selling out quickly.

Green Psychoframe Unicorn Metal Composite! Maybe the Full Armor parts as an exclusive then? Here's hoping Bandai releases the Banshee Norn!

I guess it's only a matter of time before Bandai releases the Qan[T] and maybe a variation as Tamashii Nations exclusive eh.

I believe so. Majority of the reviews that I've read did mention to some extent about the poor paint apps. Decided to pre-order one off HLJ, fingers crossed that QC has been improved!

It seems that its only a few cases though. I've asked around in local stores back at home and it was minor paint apps most of the time. Got mine for $125 on Amazon with zero issues so I'm damn happy with that. Some QC issues were really bad though (the infamous cracked head) As for Seven swords re-issue didn't that already happen ages ago? Yea that infamous cracked head scared me off the initial release along with reports of poor paint apps. I ended up getting the Prism edition which was way much better QC wise. The Seven Swords was never re-issued, Bandai instead released the 00 Raiser as a web exclusive (which basically is just the same mold with new tampo markings). Really hope they do re-issue it, as its the only MB I'm missing now.

The Metal Build Freedom is getting re-issued in August: tamashii.jp/item/1667/I didn't see this coming. Maybe now I can have some hopes of getting a Seven Swords instead of paying secondary market prices

Ditto! Was holding off buying multiple copies of the regular Unicorn and Banshee in hopes of a Full Armor + Norn release, so that I could display them in both modes.

I highly doubt that the Gundam Banshee did not meet expectations, specially in its home market. This figure was sold out in Japan. The ARX-8 Tamashii Web Exclusive parts is a given. There is actually no news there since this is a common practice that Bandai performed with releases like the Scrandler for DX SOC Mazinger-Z, G-Falcon for the Robot Spirits Gundam Double X, etc. If I remember correctly, there was a Gundam Fix Figuration Full Armor Gundam. Therefore, since the Metal Composite is a sub-line of the Gundam Fix Figuration, I do not see the point of re-releasing it for that sub-line. a Jumbo size King J-Der kit was already released as a exclusive lottery release for WonderFest. The other "news" look more like speculations that are truly to be taken with a barrel of salt. The Metal Composite Banshee is going for way below its MSRP (15,000 yen~) at Mandarake/Yahoo Auction, with many sitting there for awhile now. I believe that it is indicative of how well-received it was as compared to the MB Destiny selling in the 20-25k yen range.

And right now it is in stock at HLJ and part of their Black Friday sale! I never would have thought that it would be available at release. These things always seem to sell out and there is never any left overs for regular stock. Oh well this time I paid a bit more. However after checking out those photos, I have to say I don't care about the price too much. It looks wonderful. Thanks for the heads-up! Just got myself one from HLJ too

Hi all, I would like to clear up some doubts before I start up a collection on GFF MC models. Is the inner frame the only portion that is diecast? How about the outer armour and weapons?
And in comparison to the Metal Build series, are there any significant difference in build/diecast proportions?
Thanks (:
