I want one of these now even though I don't know much about Macross (only seen abit of Macross Seven). But I have to get my Fewture Getter first!

It seems that its only a few cases though. I've asked around in local stores back at home and it was minor paint apps most of the time. Got mine for $125 on Amazon with zero issues so I'm damn happy with that. Some QC issues were really bad though (the infamous cracked head) As for Seven swords re-issue didn't that already happen ages ago?

I can't preorder as I actually don't find out about the releases till its out Thats why I'm trying to make an effort on keeping on top of things now (Black Shin Getter, I shall get my hands on you) If u r interested in the ex getter g trio I might have set for sale which is reasonably priced! Pm me if u r interested Sorry but I'm only interested in the Dragon for the G line, besides the fact that I only have enough for a single purchase. I'll be flying home in a few days so I wanna check out the prices locally (Theres an actual Fewture dealer in my country).

The 2.0 hands on the Gundams to their job well to an extent. They improved the problems with the Nu on the Sazabi so hopefully they're using similar design and improved upon it

I'm so bummed out that I keep missing cool releases like by a month or two every time... Secondary market prices here I come Preordering FTW, sir. Of course, if we're talking about Bandai's DX Chogokin toys for Macross Frontier, not even preordering will help you. I can't preorder as I actually don't find out about the releases till its out Thats why I'm trying to make an effort on keeping on top of things now (Black Shin Getter, I shall get my hands on you)

So is this a to buy or no. I'm pretty content on my Revoltech Jehuty so I never bothered with the Sentinel release (although I love the company).

Since hot toys iron patriot got pushed to May, I finally pushed the PreO for getter 2 at anime export. I hope it's as good as it looks. With lego Sand crawler coming out, Mays going to be a killer month for me... I guess we all have high hopes with Sentinel as most of their releases are damn solid so far. After I got my Monster Hunter los figure from them I was damn amazed when I compared it to Revoltech one. When I found out about Getter stuff I just had to go for another. The Dino Getter line should be fine imo. The only things that I see that could pose a minor issue is from the Getter 1's beak possibly obstructing and ab crunch and the way the hand holds the scythes.

So what are your opinions on things like a figure being more OVA/ anime accurate (think it was Aoshima that does that) than SRC that takes liberties with the proportions. I stay as close to anime-accuracy as possible. But I'm also a fan of the silver-metallic look as it appears on the SOC DX Mazinger. As for the way a robot figure gets sculpted: I'm a sucker for dead-on sculpt. An example of that would be my LeReve Mazinger-Z figure... it was my best looking Mazinger-Z figure in my collection. Along came the SOC DX Mazinger-Z and stole that spotlight for Best Sculpt. All hands Down. The SRC Mazinkaiser needs to have its Kaiser Pilder removable, and the funky flanges on its thighs (near the torso) should be trimmed down flush with its thighs. Otherwise, I can live with it. I don't care for details such as "Proper Scale Size", because then it becomes so anal as an obsessive compulsive disorder. I have enough OCD in my life, I don't need it in my hobbies. lol Some robot figures in the SRC line need a serious remake/sculpt correction, such as the SRC Great Mazinger which has such a tiny pea-zoid head compared to the SRC Mazinger-Z. That pretty much rounds out my deciding factors for collecting in this hobby. zozo-mag I'm still waiting for the day someone releases a good Shin Getter That guy needs a better release.

I'm on the fence for this one. As much as I love my Sentinel Black Getter/ Getter 1 I don't know if this is a "must buy". Was thinking of omitting my next few purchases so I can drop it all on a Fewture EX.

Looking at my SOC collection made me realize insane, non-canon repaints was definitely going to happen again with the SRC so I never jumped on it, no point in starting now . Money saved Just my two cents. Gold BOOM! I'm with you there. I find non-canon repaints to be Distracting. And I'm trying to look at it from a 'Canon Purist' perspective. They're okay for collectors who prefer to think outside the Canon timeline of the robot character and look at the item as a Rendition or "alterna-version" of the character's original appearance. zozo-mag So what are your opinions on things like a figure being more OVA/ anime accurate (think it was Aoshima that does that) than SRC that takes liberties with the proportions.

The Black Dino Getter 1 looks much better imo. (Pics from TagHobby) That does look damn nice. The eyes look way too dark though... Need a better view of it.
