If anyone's looking for this, I've got my preorder still at Amazon. I don't know how that transfer works but I don't need it having picked it up at the convention. If no one wants it I'm just cancelling. If you're happy with the quality I'll gladly put down for it! Messaged on IG since I don't really look here

Had no idea the 'runaway version' was in the works too. I hope they offer an accessory pack for those of us who bought the first one, but if not I'll probably just get another.

Nice to see a decent deal on these so long after the release. Hats off to you!

One thing I really like is that the mouth can open at an angle. That happens several times in the movie, when the Giant has been hurt or is making a face. No idea if it was designed that way intentionally, or if it's just an emergent feature, but I'm even more excited for this now. I don't think the $300 Mondo figure can do that.

I wish it was 8 inches like the rest of the reedit line Yeah, it's much easier for me to say as someone who got out of the Re:Edit line. Not fun for current collectors. But I was saying I wished these were 1/6-scale from day one, so it feels kind of like a dream come true

Thank God I got back on these forums; I totally forgot I'd preordered this guy. It was going to show up at my old address and get sent back! Very excited for it once again.

Brilliant photos. They make me wish I hadn't sold the toy, though in my case it was a sensible move. I believe my Getter Poseidon is still boxed up in Pakistan; I should get that over here now that I'm in the USA for the foreseeable future. But I worry that having it shipped will damage it.

http://instagram.com/p/BoYECxuFsnF Scrolled past thinking "oh, that's cool," not realising it was 1/6-scale. Now I'm considerably more excited, but worried about the price

Yeah, I realised I had looked at the same series before and decided against them for that reason. Kabuterimon looks a little less shell-ish though

Very cool design. I'm going to look into the Agumon and Gabumon figures since I remember them from the show, but this looks like the best design Bandai has produced so far.

Picked up Shotgun a couple of years ago and wrote an INCREDIBLY detailed review that nobody cared to read on the Sideshow forums I was definitely new at the time, because today I wouldn't care about reading some crazy long post about a niche figure either. It was pretty nice and I enjoyed the metal content, but they made iffy design decisions on it re:articulation. The price was too high imo, especially considering the Sentinel stuff shows up for $120-130 on eBay fairly often, sometimes even less. Apparently the line has been cancelled; not sure about the status of Hulkbuster though.

At $110 I went with the fancy collector-grade packaging. So excited for this guy.

I believe 1000Toys is a sub-company of Sentinel, or they're very closely affiliated. 1000Toys started out making 1/6-scale android figures, which were produced by Sentinel. I collected them for a while and those toys had unrivaled poseability and quality control in the scale, so I'm very hopeful for this. It helps the The Iron Giant was my favourite movie for years as a kid! Also, just look at it. Right off the bat we have collapsing panels in the knees for that deep crouch pose, a >90-degree bend at the elbow without compromising the look at all, enough head mobility for him to lie down and look up, and a combination of sturdy ankles and weight distribution that allows for that one-legged pose. Just perfect. Of course I wish it were bigger, but I'd rather have perfect engineering than pure scale. This will put Mondo's effort to shame.
The connection to Sentinel is in the name--1000Toys, Sentoys in Japanese. Sentinel officially writes their name as Sen-ti-nel.

Haha, sorry to police you; it just stood out to me. Best of luck with the sale; it is a great figure.

You may want to recommend that your friend reconsider his price. There are many of these with no issues for less on eBay.

There are a lot of unknowns for sure. But last time I put my faith in Wei Jiang, I got a bigger and genuinely better Masterpiece Transformer at less than half the price of the original. I'm willing to take a risk on them again
