Thanks, sir. Purchased...I sincerely thank you for helping me spend my money! <removes glove and slaps> Seriously, thanks for the help! I applied a 3.5% discount voucher I had earned from NY which I guess, pays for half of shipping. So, about 35K JPY all-in...not horrid. Can't believe I'm saying that esp. if I'm thinking about how much Metal Builds USED to be when Bandai first started this line. hahahahaha! no worries!!! Man, I've been seeing some QanT pics on the everywhere now - he looks amazing! I expect this kit to go up in price in a few months just like Strike Freedom. Wouldn't be surprised if the price goes up to 40K even 55K yen. Strike Freedom is selling like 55K yen to 65K yen in Japan....Merry Christmas Come on HLJ - haven't charge me yet! Ship the damn thing!!!! hahaha!

What was this issue that Battle Marine had w/ the GX-50 - just curious my friend sure thing bro ! the problem is in the knee joints its very weak and it should be ratchet joints, if you display it in the battle ship mode without the landing gear the knee joint will collapse in the combined mode as soon as you lift the figure the legs become floppy and if you tilt it backward the the legs fall back also i find it very weird that the knee can give you a very good articulation, but you cant move the thighs froward or backward much because the battle tank, its an awkward design really, not to mention the red disk on the battle marine falls by just looking at it lol (same issue on the Battle crusher) this video will give you a better picture i hope all those issues are fix in the DX because the DX stand for perfection in my opinion awwww kinda off a waster if you have good knee articulation but no thigh (legs) I hope this gets fixed w/ the DX version I'm really excited - should be my first DX chogokin. Edit: Just noticed it - looks like it will have a much longer thigh meaning better articulation - sorry I don't own a Gx50 so I wouldn't know

My only hope is at this size, the combination is solid and all joints are properly ratcheted so it will be able to hold its pose and weight. Too much emphasis on the sound effects etc., but as long as it's made nicely and the Battle Marine doesn't flop around, I'm good. And hopefully the Grandasher transformation is held together by tabs, not just strength of the joints. i agree with you, from the video the Battle Marine was solid not like the GX-50, along with other Battle Machines looks like they fixed most of the issues the GX-50 have What was this issue that Battle Marine had w/ the GX-50 - just curious my friend

Leak pics? Seems like its ready to go..... I know I'm ready I most excited 2018 release . The box looks slick! The pic is blurry so not sure whether there are support stand for the buster rifle final shot pose. The stand is a bit plain - I think I just got spoiled or used off Metal build Stands, minor nitpick. Overall looks pretty good......

Hi Locidm, I see that you are a student of the game for Macross figures as well - silly question, with the announcement of the VF-1J, approx how much would it cost and also is it also a war to PO to get a PO in? My first experience of War was PO for MEtal Build 00 QanT If I have to guess this will be at least $300 and as much as $500 depending on how big it really is and how much gimmicks/accessories it contains. PO will be a war but I think Bandai is finally understanding the demand for Macross and not grossly under-producing anymore. I haven't had any issue ordering anything Macross from Bandai (except for the exclusive VF-31J Kai, which I'm skipping). If you think that at one point in your life you'll want to have an entire squadron of VF-1 valks, go with the Yamato/Arcadia 1/60, or even the Bandai Hi-Metals. I have a hard time seeing Bandai releasing a whole squadron at this new scale, whatever it's going to be. Price is going to be high, and the boxes are going to be huge. The Arcadia VF-1 valkyries are really wonderful. In fact, up till VF-31, all of Bandai's DX Chogokin Macross offerings have been in my opinion inferior to Yamato/Arcadia. With the recent VF-31, I think Bandai has finally met the bar previously set by Yamato/Arcadia. Sweet thanks man!!! wow $300 - thats a bit steep - I think this would be the 1/48. I guess we just have to wait and see for more details. Thanks for the comparison between Arcadia and Bandai Valks, that is quite interesting....

Strike for 2018 ? The skirts look to big, needs to be trimmed down - then again its a prototype. Only getting this w/ Aile Pack - then again knowing Bandai - here you go P-Bandai Perfect Strike Gundam w/ all the strike packs..lol

We don’t know enough yet, honestly. The scale is probably 1/48 so people with big 1/60 collections might hold off, but I’d say yes, it'll be a war to get a PO in Sweet, thanks! I'm leaning on this rather than the arcadia/yamato versions - I might just get two so that I don't get too sucked in, this one and a Vf-1S Roy if he gets released

actually it was the VF-19 Advanced they Bandai has released before (from the Frontier movie when Isamu showed up for half a second). This is the first DX YF-19 from Bandai. Rumor has it that it's basically the same mold as the VF-19 Advanced with different paint app, logos, and accessories. Not sure if the cockpit will be any different since the YF-19 is supposed to be able to seat two.
