I've been waiting on my order from ToyerCity since it supposedly shipped 1/9/18, but tracking hasn't updated since it supposedly left HK and ToyerCity hasn't responded to me. I guess I'll file with PayPal and then reorder elsewhere. I thought ToyerCity had a good reputation?

last thing, if any one find Mazinger z boring, the he is not a robots fan Haha, while I agree, there are definitely folks who don't have the love we do for Maz! I do think King Arts is overall very good. Battle damaged pieces are phenomenal and the issues I have with this guy are on the lesser important side. I'd definitely recommend him to any Maz fan. ~Paik

I got mine yesterday and here are my thoughts and a link to my video review.
Positives: -Looks great with nice details and finish overall. -Really great articulation. Reminds me of Figuarts level of articulation on a larger figure that's a super robot. As @dante78 pictures above illustrate just how nice it is for posing. Very stable in many poses. -Great balance and overall tolerances in all of the joints (only the knees have ratchets the rest are either balljoints or friction but work pretty well). Most of the parts and pieces like armor stay in place quite well with most using more than sufficient tabbing or magnet or a combo of both. -Battle damage parts are the best part of the set. The extra paint and mold changes are really nicely detailed. I'll likely display mine that that to break up my Maz display.
Negatives: -Paint scraping, particularly on the silver abdomen parts that rub against the armor and scrander belt -Scrander attachment mech is pretty odd and while it's solid if you get it on, it is annoying and the doors on the back feel like they could break -Some design issues. For example, the springs in the abdomen pieces on mine don't secure the springs into place so they could fly out at any moment. The ones on the back piece seem to be got glued into place (WTF? This is a $300 figure, right?) The battery cover on the forearms are not very secure, my right one falls off with just gravity if it's pointing down. -Aside from the scrander LEDs, the other lights are too weak or placed in a way that makes them nearly impossible to see in normal lighting. The forearm lights are the worst offenders followed by the chest and eyes. reVolVer seems to have better luck than I do. Maybe I need to use new batteries instead of the stock ones they provide or maybe because he's in darker lighting. Way worse than DX lighting. Much less diecast than I expected.
Overall: I'm happy with the purchase. Some of it seems derivative like the articulation from other figures, the endoskeleton from DX, the battle damage from GX-70D (no clue which one was in development first), but I feel happy about $300 on this guy. The value will really depend on what you personally hold important though since there are a lot of places where this does fall short.
I posted my review, but i'm not sure if it's cool to post the video here. If not, let me know and I'll edit it out of the post.

Hey folks! Lurked for a couple weeks but joined thanks to my good friend, Chogoking, once I got my first SOC (or any modern Chogokin for that matter) figure, GX-71 Voltron. I was blown away with the quality of the figure and have now jumped into the deep end to start collecting SOC stuff and joining in the community.
