I need help ID'ing these parts. I have these robot toy parts in my lot box. They belong to one, or more robots... ...three of these parts share the same logo that is shown on the robot's forehead. (#s 2, 3, 7) Two of these parts look like lower-leg vehicles to a large diecast robot figure. (#s 4 and 5) The "leg" with the drill on its "knee" belongs to a robot unknown to me. (# 6) The "shield" or the "chestplate" belongs to a robot unknown to me (# 1) If I new which robot(s) these parts belong to, I will try to find the rest of the parts to complete the entire robot(s)... ...If not, I will trade these parts for other misc parts so that I can finish building/customizing these Gundams... Thanks in advance! zozo-Magengar

A lot are Power Rangers Lightspeed Rescue parts. 2, 4, 5 & 7 are from the Deluxe Omega Megazord (waist, right leg, left leg and arms respectively). 3 is the head to the Deluxe Lightspeed Megazord. www.megazord.net/page46.htmOff the top of my head I think #1 is part of a Timeforce Megazord, not sure about #6 *Edit* Not sure if you have on or both arms there

COOL!!! Thanks for the info help, Gort! #7 is an arm, the only one of its kind I have. I figured out what I could do with #1 (the "shield" thingy): perhaps I could paint it and customize a cool breastplate for my jumbo Great Mazinger. The drill, and some parts on #6 - could be used to customize another 12" figure I have which could use a nice "drillbit" to replace its broken hand. zozo-Magengar

Hey Gort! I looked at the pics in that Zord page-link you posted; I noticed they have a Max Solar Zord just like mine! Except mine is missing parts from its backside and other stuff. My Solarzord was included in my lot box (an ebay auction win from a couple months ago). I also managed to combine these Lightspeed Zord parts, just the legs and torso... I still gotta find the other arm and the rest of the body. But these Zords are not priorities for me right now. Thanks! zozo-Magengar

No problem Magengar, happy to help Looks like a nice little lot you got there. IMO the Omega Megazord is one of the nicest of the Power Rangers offerings, it has a nice amount of diecast and looks well proportioned. Good luck finding the rest of the parts.

I looked up the Zord for #1 (the breastplate) on ebay... that breastplate belongs to the Time Force Shadow Megazord... IMO, it looks Fugly. I'll just use this breastplate for customizing other figures. ;D I took the drillbit off #6, and used it as a "hand-weapon" for one of my 12" figures... ...the 12" figure looks lizard-like/humanoid, with a mouth that has an upper-jaw, an left/right bottom jaws, dressed in red/purple armor, and has two toes on each foot. This 12" figure doesn't stand up on its own very well. One of his jaws broke off. I'm thinkin of painting some of the red armor parts in metallic "aluminum" spray enamel... zozo-Magengar

Just through I'd mention that the #7 piece looks to be an arm also from Omega Megazord. I'm not terribly familiar with this particular DX as for some odd reason it was never released in Canada (I have pretty much all the DX Ranger stuff from around that time.) So I couldn't tell you how it attaches or anything.
Does part #1 have any moving parts (as in does the center of it flip around at all? If no, then you got it with the scaled down Shadow Force Megazord. If yes, then it's actually part of the DX Time-Shadow that could combine with Time-Force Megazord to form the Shadow-Force Megazord (which is actually pretty cool and decently hefty - not quite as ugly as that scaled down one you see there.

Thanks for the info, Ben-Ohki! Yeah, part #1 yaps and clams like a barking oyster. ;D (top photo) It opens up and has a weird slot box inside the black half of the lid... ...perhaps it must've been an Avon mascara case in a previous life. The lid halves detach. I can use the grey/"chrome" lid-half to make a customized chestplate for my GrtMaz jumbo. ( As you can see it fits nicely in scale with the Maz body-- --I'll add "wings" to it to form a cool Mazinger chestplate. I'll have to repaint his head... too much "aluminum" paint there, feels "tacky". But the Maz custom project is OT, in its own thread.) zozo-Magengar

ah - ok, I see now in the new photo set, it's definitely from the smaller cheapy-version ShadowForce then. The DX Time-Shadow had actual paint and sculpt on the chest plate and was not a sticker. What I meant by "flip around" was that there was a center 2-sided panel on a central axle: one side was a red-theme and the other was a blue-theme so you could form either mode-red Shadow-Force or the mode-blue Shadow-Force when combined with the Time-Force Megazord.

I see... PR has some cool zords, but others don't impress me as much; and I'm not much of a PR fan. Especially when the robots have such longassed geneology Final Will-reading names like "Time Force Shadow Dyno-ninja Thermo Psuedo Nympho psychob*tch stank-ho Megazord" ...I'd think the Power Ranger pilots would be shot dead by the time the mecha parts even start to join together! ;D I've got a few other PR stuff I could mod parts with, as well. I managed to peel the sticker off that chestplate easy. I'll clean the goo off with Goo-Gone; and experiment some modifications from there. Thanks! zozo-Magengar
