yup that's the aoshima die-cast. If its anything like their previous ones, such as the alien dropship, airwolf, and Thunderbirds, it should have significant die-cast content. I was eyeing that, but I decided to pass, if only it were a smaller scale to go with the rest of my godzilla stuff. It's just too old school to fit in my current 1/48 mecha/ vehicle display

I don't know, I think it would look pretty cool with some 1/48 Valks or Votoms. It would look like their guarding some high-tech piece of equipment. Anyway here's a review. pony-hp3.web.infoseek.co.jp/MESER.htm

D@MN IT!!!!! I saw these in proto form in Hobby Japan and I was SO HOPPING this was a Plastic kit or at the least a resin kit. but no!!! NO NO NO!!! they had to make it a die-cast toy. GRRRRRRRRRRR oh well possable they may make one clifton

i was able to snag a Maser Tank, forgot what particular type from Yahoo Japan Auctions, though it's the Choro-Q (SD) version... looks cute though ;D
