One more Marmit FLOSR pic for the mix. Question for my fellow FLOSR collectors: Do your figures tend to lean forward? I've had to stick paper under the toes of most of mine to keep them from falling on their faces. Either that or rotate their legs/feet inwards...(as you can see from Gaiking's kneecaps below.)

I got me Reideen and Combattler V but I really don't know the maker of these 2 toys at all......the seller who sold these didn't know either...so I decided to add them up to the Marmit series picture since they are almost at the same height give or take an inch or 2. ICC, I have those same Combattler and Reideen figures. I bought them on eBay for about $14 each in their original packaging. They were both released by Banpresto in 2002 as "crane game" prizes. They're about the same size as the Yamato Grendizer and Shin Getter figures...(See bottom left corner.) now it makes sence......thank you for clearing that out for me.............and yes they are the same size as Grendizer Yamato.

I really don't know since all of my toys are not displayed........they are always in their boxes 24 hours/365 days a year..........everyday I say to myself......should I open everything and get it over with.........but then I just stop.........I do l;ike them more in their boxes.............I only have 3 without a box only.....devilman marmit stands easily........combattler and reideen I just found out they were not marmits.............so it is hard to tell.

Toys that are never opend make me sad... but, to each his own.
My Great maz and Grandizer usually have to get their legs rotated each time I take them down or reposition them, but nothing like your bowlegged Gaiking.

Marmit Daigokins. Like the FLOSRs. Just more so. Right there is about 10.5 kg of pure gokin. That's 23 pounds for us Yanks.

All of mine pretty much came out of the box leaning forward given the dynamic angle of the stance. Just rotate the legs inward until the guy is standing straight up. I had the most problems with Gaiking and Boss Borot. Getter Dragon looks perfectly fine and is BY FAR my favorite FLOSR. If a Daigokin version ever came out, I would be over the moon.

Is that in the same scale as the FLOSR Mazinger? Was it released in the late 1990's as well? Interesting, never seen this before. The sculpt looks completely different.

Cool! I had no idea Marmit released an OVA Mazinger. Is it really that much smaller than the Grendizer, or is it just the perspective in the photo? Also, is this OVA Mazinger and the Reideen the only two in the more nondescript, monochrome cardboard packaging, or are there others like these?

The regular Maz Z is shorter than Grandizer, but the 'forced perspective' of the photo exaggerates it a bit.
Roboto, can we see a side-by side with the regular Maz Z and the OVA?

Wait, better yet - I'll take photos of Marmit FLOSR Mazingers displayed at a local medical clinic's reception. The clinic's director is a doctor who is also an avid Japanese robot toy collector. He bought 3 apartment buildings to store his enormous collection in. It's scary - he's run out of storage space on all 3 floors of each apartment and now some of his collection is spilling over to his clinic. The last I heard, this doctor has three sets of the Popy Jumbo Machinder Spazer. WHAT?! Where's this clinic? I am in Taipei several times a year and would love to fake an injury and stop by. Wow.

The OVA Mazinger looks to be a bit shorter and smaller than the regualr Mazinger Z. Looking forward to the clinic pics. Is this doctor your friend? Would he be willing to open up his THREE APARTMENTS (or whole apartment buildings?) for a friendly, RJ photo tour? By the way, are there good stores for finding vintage stuff in Taipei?
