I just got back from Hong Kong. I'm surprised I didn't see much Marmit FLOSR at the toyshops that I visited. The only one I saw was this. Roboto!!! Man, I have been searching high and low for this FLOSR. It's the only one I am still looking for. I was eyeing the silver one on eBay for the last few months, but it's the regular anime color one that I am holding out for.... Damn, so close, yet so far away...

Emerson, roboto, thedarkknight77,
Does the shin Getter have Marmit copyright info anywhere on it? My Mazingers and other Getters do, but I just acquired a reg and Black ShinGetter in the same size and style(looks just like the ones you guys posted) with no box or copyright stamp anywhere.

Captain, you bought a knock off. I bought the same thing and hated it. It still had plaster in the foot when I received it. I own the Black version and the Metallic version. I am looking for the regular color as well.

Sorry, Cap, but that sounds like a boot. I don't have a Shin Getter FLOSR to examine, per se, but I can't imagine that Marmit would imprint their markings on the other figures in the series but not this particular one. Is it a nice figure at least?
Hey thedarkknight77, how do you like your metallic Shin Getter? Does it stand straight?
I was literally watching that guy on eBay since the day it popped up, but just couldn't bring myself to pull the trigger. Given the neverending list of things I want to buy, I made a deal with myself that I would never buy different color versions of the same toy...Unless, of course, there is some legit, canon, anime basis for multiple color versions. For example, Macross VF-1 valkyries and Votoms Scopedogs....Sounds like we're all hunting for a regular color version Shin Getter haha. Well, good luck to everyone. Whoever finds one, please post pics!

Thanks guys! I thought they were KOs....
They're good, but not perfect... a couple of mold marks at the elbows and some overall paint inconsistencies....nothing I can't 'fix' if it really bugs me, but it's OK for now. Shin getter's not my favorite and I'm not trying for a full set.

ICC, The Metallic version is OK. I was not extremely impressed, but I am happy I now have him..............I can finally take it off my watch. Like you I have had him on my watch list for 2 years. The Reideen on the other hand is amazing!!!! By far the best figure I own. I also think the anime Gaiking is beautiful. I am like you, I hate to buy different color versions, but this line is my favorite line of toys and I somehow cannot control myself. I hope to get a new curio soon and I will post pictures when I reconfigure the display.

Hehe, I was watching that Reideen for ages too....Then one day, both the Shin Getter and the Reideen were gone haha! Can you post more pics of both these guys? I'm intrigued by the Reideen. It looks to be of better quality than the other FLOSRs for some reason.

yes.....these toys are nice........I think they are like the semi-Jumbo but in more real colors...........................I hope marmit will release more of our most desired robots someday. Closest thing Marmit has done is to refashion the Maz, Great Maz and Grendizer as Daigokins. And even then, there hasn't been any word of anything new in the pipeline. Then again only three of these have been released since the first Maz in 1999 (not counting recolors). I'm very curious if Marmit is making money on these....Man, I hope so. Painful as they are on the wallet, they are so solid, they will certainly be around, no worse for the wear, long after I am gone...

No problem. It is a very nice figure, surprisingly, despite it being "just" a crane game prize. Very nice sculpt, solid, big...And for the money, it screams VALUE. Too bad only Combattler and Reideen were released. What's with all these abbreviated toy lines....It's maddening!

The forgotten one, one of the early production by Marmit Fierce Legend of Super Robot line. 6, 7 years ago? Not sure when exactly. Poseidon. Very hard to find now...
