Okay, now it's my turn... I haven't posted any fan art here in yEEEEEEEEEEE-ars! lol ---------------------- Hi all, long time no see- been offline since I've moved into my new apartment almost two months ago. I thought I'd include my custom screensaver and resources as a related bundle in this post all at once so that I'm not posting the same thing repeatedly in other threads here at RJ... ...my internet time is also limited, so I cannot just 'hang out' online casually while I'm doing this. ( I'm also posting this in some of my other web groups and forums, and on my personal Facebook page, all in one internet session)... Lately I was bored at home ( no internet service installed yet- I like the offline break. lol), and so, I made this wallpaper using the image of my Bandai DX S.O.C. Mazinger-Z action figure.... My desktop (Windows XP)......------------------------------ After the wallpaper was made, I then created additional CG scenes with the environment to form a set of animated sequences that would become my own custom screensaver. The figure in this wallpaper is an image promo from Bandai Japan back when they released this limited edition collectable action figure in the summer of 2012... ...although I recently bought a new 14mp camera I haven't practiced taking professional grade photos with it; and my DX Mazinger-Z figure is still packed in its box for now until I can set up a display area for it. I decided to use Bandai Japan's promo image for its professional quality, and its photographed lighting made it possible for me to "blend" it as a Shadow-enabled polygonized texture image into my Japanese CG modeler (DoGA CGA L3 ...google it) to go with my modeled hangar bay background and crane machines. I then added lights and special effects, and the "Mazinger-Z Opening Theme" music, along with some Gatchaman metallic sound effects, and finalized everything as an mpeg video which was then transformed into a screensaver. The entire project only took me less than a week, from concept to completion. Here's my desktop wallpaper from the project. If you like, download it for your enjoyment. I hope this image size doesn't hog this entire webpage-- it's in .PNG format to preserve its quality, and it's in high resolution (1920x1080) so that you can resize it to fit your monitor screen... ------------------------------------ (this one below really belongs in the Share stuff section of this forum...) Here's my screensaver with other resources included in a zip folder so that you can make your own custom screensavers... www.mediafire.com/download/z5m0ulk66oo27v0/DX-SOC-MAZ_screensaver.rarThis youtube video is a preview sample of the screensaver... ...Please pardon this large bundle all at once. Hope you like. Enjoy! zozo-mag

Nice work there! Must really suck to be disconnected thou. I don't watch TV anymore, just surf the net for the news and weather when I want to. }D

Thanks for the compliment, bro! Soon as I get my DX Maz out of its box and on display again I wanna try to do some stop-motion stuff with him. For now I couldn't let the Bandai photos go to waste while the screensaver and wallpaper ideas were still in my head. lol
I also have a 64bit dual-core computer that won't even boot on, otherwise I'd be working on some CG stuff that I've had on hold for too long. I'd rather just buy a brand new computer for that kind of processing power.
I really don't care for TV except to have the News running in the background while I'm working on files and programs.

The worst Technology era in my life was the pager... ...I hated those things! I had to carry one during my bike-messenger days in L.A. back in the mid '90s, and therefore I had to buy black-market payphone codes just so I could call my dispatcher for delivery instructions on my court runs. lol I'm gathering materials for making dioramas. If I could make some mock enemy robots I would stage a street battle scene for my SRC Mazinger-Z figure. zozo-mag

For March of robots I didn't do much fan art, but I did an Optimus Prime, and I wanted to take the time to make a decent rendition of the Semi from Zybots. I took into consideration how some G1 toys looked compared to their anime counterpart, so I applied a similar concept to this Zybot. You can see the other March of Robots 2016 drawings here. All done on an ipad pro. Much of it is character design for my other projects. noritoy.blogspot.com/2016/04/march-of-robots-2016.html
