Hey Cold, what program (if done by computer) did you use to draw that AvP with? It looks Sharp! I like how the color shades blend so smoothly into one-another, and the shiny specular lights along the Alien's tail look really awesome! zozo-Magengar

Oh thanks. It is really old though. Back from high school 10 years ago. I am trying to find a new style now though.

Thanks, if you click my DA link you can see a handful of other things I drew back in the day before I took several years away from it. There are some elements from my old style I would like to recapture.

Thanks for the compliments. I've spent almost seven years with the DoGA and Metasequoia programs learning and developing my skills so that I can get a good sculpt for Mazinger and Koji for my fanmovie project***. I don't know how to print it out for use as a template to create an actual figure. The programs I use is just for 3D animation (as in "CG") and they are way low-end compared to programs like Poser Pro and Maya. I've tried exporting the Mazinger model as a .DXF file, but there are Many DXF formats in the CAD range and I don't know which dxf type would render the object without triangulating it nor flattening it. I've heard of manufacturers who use DXF as a format to "print" actual real action-figures from such files. At least it exports nicely as an .X file for use in dzsoft's Easy3D Screensaver Maker program. These models in the image are actually 3D in DoGA's .SUF format, and materialized with "anime" cellshade (for Koji. Mazinger just has a basic shine). They're just fixed rendered models; but I can then disassemble their body parts and reassemble them as moving multi-jointed posable objects which I can render later as animated objects. ***I have test-renders posted at YouTube under my youtube namepage "Magengar" where you'll find them. zozo-Magengar oops by printing I mean 3d printing

Heeeeere's a head/hair test cg render of Koji... This is the first time in almost seven years that I can FINALLY mesh his hair right! ;D I'd like to try him as an .stl print someday. zozo-Magengar

Tony, I've really enjoyed your work....I absolutely see the improement and Love the Velgas.
Now have you ever thought that your 3D files might, MIGHT, be usable for rapid prototyping?
Let me know if they can. Private message me.
