Ok folks.
Here we are for the August Fun Draw.
This month's theme will be slightly different. Still Robot related but shifting gears a bit to our organic/mechanic faves.
That's right! This months theme is...<cue dramatic music>:
[glow=red,2,300]"TEAM CYBORG ATTACK!!"[/glow]
"What does this mean?", you say..well, I'm glad you asked.
Basically we are going to focus our attention to our other neglected robo-brothers, the cyborgs.
Let's break down the title to get an understanding of this month's theme:
[glow=red,2,300]TEAM:[/glow]
More than one. So you can either create a team of your favorite CYBORGS or Sentai team. But if you are including a sentai member or doing the sentai team, you must include their ROBOT. You can mix and match.
[glow=red,2,300]CYBORG:[/glow]
This months entry can include cyborgs (in the true sense of the word) and/or humanoid robots, and/or sentai teams. But again, if you are including a sentai team or member, you must include their team's ROBOT.
Lastly, [glow=red,2,300]ATTACK!:[/glow]Self explanatory. Draw your cyborg/humanoid/sentai team-up getting ready to attack or in the process of opening a can of serious WHUP ASS on some evil baddies!
Some additions, changes and things to consider:
[glow=red,2,300]BACKGROUNDS: [/glow]Must be detailed and related to the scene. Let's stay away from Speed lines and too much abstraction. Let's keep it real, son. Like you were hired by a comic company to do this project!
[glow=red,2,300]COMPOSITION:[/glow]Must be visually appealing and not so confusing.
[glow=red,2,300]LAYOUT: [/glow]Presentation of the page must make sense for the viewer.
That's right. We're going to increase the difficulty up a bit as we have talented folks here so I know you can do it.
***DEADLINE EXTENDED***
Again, color or black and white is fine. Entries must be submitted [glow=red,2,300]no later than 12:00 midnight SEPTEMBER 29, 2006 EASTERN STANDARD TIME.[/glow] (figured this will be enough time since it's already the 11th). Winner gets to chose next months topic and will be featured in the RJ Deviant gallery for AUGUST/SEPTEMBER.
