WOW!!! Your Gattaiger looks almost Exactly in fine shape as the GX01R!!! That is Awesome work there, man! I'm curious: How on Earth did you manage to cast the Mazinger head, with crown opening (where the Pilder sits inside) and crown all in one piece? I'm bustin my brains out figurin how to cast my jumbo-sized Maz heads, as well as smaller Maz heads. (I'll worry about the Pilder later) Again, that's a Terrific job there! zozo-Magengar

I know what ya mean about the basement project...
I moved into my place six months ago, and since then I'd never gotten around to repainting my room due to crazy work-schedules and outside hobby projects.
Now that I've started my collection, I'd better get my place fixed up soon before it outgrows my space! ;D

That is pure GENIUS! I shoulda realized it, since the head is diecast and sturdier to handle being pulled from the mold. I wouldn't try that with a soft-plastic Jumbo mazinga head, for fear of breaking off his "L"shaped ear-horns. Thanks! zozo-Magengar I'm curious: How on Earth did you manage to cast the Mazinger head, with crown opening (where the Pilder sits inside) I'm bustin my brains out figurin how to cast my jumbo-sized Maz heads, as well as smaller Maz heads. Wow that's amazing...so wait your cast is made out of resin or is the material you use in the cast was resin? Sorry, a newbie to all this casting stuff. This is what I know. You use Silicone or RTV or similar material to surround the part. This them creates a mold. Using the cast material you use the molds to make the parts. Is this correct. I want to try this, as yet I haven't so still learning not many online resources to help me here. If you guys know of any please direct it my direction. Thanks.

At first I was thinking "OUCH!" when I saw the disassembled GX-01R, but man when I scrolled further, I'm just in awe at the spectacular custom you've created.
