Impressive mannix143!!! You just can't wait can't you??? BTW, was it hard to disassemble it? thanks, yah i cant wait for the real gx-31b to come out hehehe when the sun came out earlier i took advantage of it ^_^ but still an hour more wouldve been nice. its not really hard to dissasemble it, just try to remember which piece goes to which one. thank God that i dont have a spare screw lying around after. some parts are easy to disassemble and some are just a whole piece that you have to mask it. the hardest part is to mask and paint it. some parts are just to small or narrow to mask and paint and is hard to align. Thats what happened with Frigate-4s' wings, i was already in a hurry to catch more sunlight and keeps messing it up because its hard to put mask on it. sigh* its true that haste makes waste. aside from that, the second hard one is sanding.... im using 1800 grit(its the only one i had). im also designing a sticker logo that would say something like "Exclusive GX-31B" "Robot-Japan Version" "01 of 05" or something like that. ^_^

im still having probs with the frigate-4's wings. What problems are you having, maybe I can help. Also the 1800 grit is to fine for sanding it will sand but you will sit there for a long ass time. You can also sand so much that it will start to warp plastic or thin out the clear coat ,pain ,or prime. On metal I would use 600 grit then jump to 1500. or in your case 1800 if you still have some. then use 800-1000 on plastic and move up too 1500 or 1800 grit

lets use this for an example: see the frigates wings.... when i mask it and paint the legs its fine, but when i mask the legs and paint the wings, theres a narrow hole that is hard to mask(or maybe im just in a hurry at that time) and the paint keeps going off that i have to mask the wing again to paint the legs, i will know tomorrow if the sun goes out, i will try to do it again or else i will paint the wings black also and gray for the missles. and i only had 1800 grit for now, i will try to get the 1500 next time i will customize another robot. i already bought that GX-06 china version(the one that came with those funky colors).... so that might be my next one ^_^

usually its an italian seller on ebay.
i click the checkbox to "search title and description" and the "worldwide" check box ..... search "getter" you will see a few of them, make sure to ask how much is the shipping first, because some of them has like 60.00 Euro for shipping and handling
hope this helps ^_^

Is the frigate wing the yellow part attached closely to the lower leg? That looks kinda tight in there! Can the wing come off, or unscrew off? If them wings can come off, it would be easier to paint the legs. Try not to rush it this time, if you do you'll risk breaking something there. Patience is Everything when doing these projects. I'd rather take forever on a project, to have it turn out good; than to anticipate and rush through it, and ruin the toy. zozo-Magengar

i finally finished the leg part, a big lesson for me. apparently when you fold the wings theres no space for another strip of paint, so what i did is i scraped off o thin layer so that when i fold the wings it wont scratch on the leg and ruin the paint. but the damage is done and the scar is noticable. the last thing to do now is to color some of the accessories and im done. I will be posting pics ^_^
and dude, i tried that krylon paint on the legs of a jumbo...... mmmaaannnnn it looks good!!! cant wait to do it next hehehe but i might use 2 cans for one jumbo.
oh and about that plasti-dip, im planning to dip a plastic part, do i still need to sand it?
cant wait for the SUMMER WEATHER!!! lolz!

It's looking really good... I see you finally dealt with the frigate wings. Nice! zozo-Magengar thanks dude.... yah finally! what i did is i shave off a thin layer of that wing(the one connecting to the leg), so when i turn the wing around the leg... it wont scrape the paint off. but the damage was done already and you can actually see the a scar or defect on that part(well you cant see it on that pic, i will post it on the next update, when i finish some accessories and the box). i guess its one of those things that you have to watch out when customizing parts.... specially moving parts. by the way Dude.... i saw that alimunim maz head on your site that you where talking about, it does look nice.... and i saw a jumbo that was a little bit spread legged..... how did you do that? i have a spare raydeen body that i was thinking of doing a custom jumbo doublas... but it would most likely be for next yr.
