Sculpey is a bake clay (it doesn't harden until you bake it). It's inexpensive and very easy to work with, but also somewhat heavy and not really strong. But for customs, it's great as long as you have a skeleton that can support it.

I love the Daitarn 3. That has to be the best sculp I have seen of him. He is normaly so blocky and stiff.

Great stuff. All three looks very nice. Good proportion and looks like it has good articulation as well. Its very well done for something scratch built for sure. But its no SOC unless it has DIECAST!

Thanx guys for the feedback.. yes sculpey can be paint by sand it first with sand paper, then paint it with reguler sprai paint. well it ried to make them transform like the original SoC figures, but I failed... anyway, my next project that almost finish UFO daiapolon (22 inch) 98% Shin Getter 3 (6 inch) 92 % God Mazinga (6 inch) 96 % Macross/ Sdf 1 (2 meters) 4% I'll post the picture when its done

Thats very impressive. So what kind of consistency does the sculpy have? Is it like clay? And how does it compare with the vinyl--is one material better for structural stuff and another for detail work?

Those are awesome customs and a nice preview of upcoming SOC's. There's not a doubt in my mind Bandai will make these and most likely in the same size as yours, although Daitarn 3 will most likely be Iron Gear/Ideon size than the giant monster you made.

Those customs look Amazing! You put so much careful attention to the details in those figures. The articulations you use for these are Super-Genius! ( it's nice having spare action-figure joints when ya need them! ;D ) Of the three, I like the Daitarn custom very much because of his bright colors and he looks so much bigger than the average SOC figure. My second favorite is the Daltanius custome-- I like how you used his keychain head for this custom, and the lion on his chest looks Awesome! Last-not-least, I also like the Daimos custom. I'm not a Daimos fan; but I DO like how you used revoltech joints for the articulation in this custom figure. All three: the paint job looks precise and consistent all over the custom figures. Some folks just customize figures in a hurry to satisfy the "Gotta Have It" hunger... ...but You took your careful time to get these customs made right and they really look Sharp. Great job, keep it up! Thanks for sharing! zozo-Magengar

I still say you should make them to order -at least!!! Now I'm just waiting for a Bandai Soul Of Chogokin GX-07 Mazinger OVA version that I just got on Ebay pretty cheap. When I have some time off, I'm going to modify it into this: ASHURA MAZINGER!!! We'll see how it turns out... }D
