Hi guys, I am the creator of that Ashura Maz. I was browsing thru the section and was surprised to see it posted here. That was actually the second version I made.
For those who want to know,
Neck pice, ashura pilder, spider legs, and head tail are all made out of super sculpy
Lower torso and breast fire plates where sprayed with Tamiya paint
Stips along the lower end of the legs, arms and mid arms and legs are made out of styrene in assorted sizes
All the round shinny buttons you can get in stores that cater to cloth design. Usually were they sell buttons, ribbons and stuff like that
I actually never finished that project! :-P
I still have to make a Spider pilder and a regular flying pilder

Thanks TMZ. I made that piece like 7 years ago! It looks very outdated by todays standards. Interesting idea you propose of commisioning this figure. I didn't think others would be interested in it. Perhaps a Shapeways kit with all upgrade parts so anyone can custom build one on their own? What do you think?
A kit that comes with:
New head with spider legs Ashura pilder in dock mode Ashura pilder in spider mode (ground mode) Ashura pilder in jet mode (air mode) Neck collar Straps for arm and legs Bag full of rhinestones Sticker for base

Could something like that also be made using reproduced parts from the MechaCollection Shin Mazinger model kit?

The head and Pileder would be the biggest difference between the two, but I guess it would work. }D
