I still CAN NOT believe ebay still let this @#$% running his auctions. He should be SUSPENDED by now. I am starting to question ebay's ability to catch potential FRAUD or LISTING VIOLATION you know, they pulled over 5,000 auctions from me at work last week, and for what? a screener thought they saw the word TORTURE in a vintage magazine listing, and it was the word COUTURE or something in French, so they yanked 5,000 auctions down. they're too busy playing porn/religious-police to actually stop a scammer. While it might be tempting, you really should watch out for super robot auctions from 0-feedbackers. 9.99999999999 times out of 10 its a scam. I've been burned twice on zero fb-ers in similar auctions. so not worth it to save 20-50 bucks off a vintage bot.

Most experienced Ebayers will immediately draw up a flag when they see a "new" seller on ebay with these kinda "rare" items. I suspected this seller is a scam as well. 0 feedbacks definitely doesn't not make me want to bid on the items, no matter how rare it is... its just not worth the trouble when all if just a hoax. but how is the seller going to get a higher feedback than 0 if he doesnt make the first sale? sorry if i sound so ignorant, but sellers reuse stock photos in Ebay all the time. if a seller is using your stock photo or plagiarized your description, that's a listing violation and you can report them to Ebay for that. the thing is, all they have to do is paraphrase a little and some photoediting and they are off the hook again. some are just doing it coz they are too lazy to think up their own descriptions or take photos themselves. i would rather see a seller with an honest 0 feedback because he hasn't sold anyting yet rather than a seller with some feedback points but were all scammed using his other accounts or by bidding on scam aucrions. there are lots of sellers out there who list things like free gmail invites in exchange for feedback points. their feedback sometimes are in the hundreds, sometimes thousands - all from scam listings. it doesnt make this new seller seem any more legit because he is using old photos from old auctions that was probably not his. further, it doesn't make this seller seem legit when he doesn't reply to questiosn asked of his items. any new vender can seem legit if they at least took some time to write out a description that was more than just "generic" at best. I too feel that ebay doing too much censuring over religion and porn and not enough on the real scammers who are rampant on ebay. i recently reported a dishonest vender on ebay who tried to charge me extra for using paypal after the auction closed. he made no mention of it on the auction and only mentioned the surcharge after the auction has ended. ebay did cancel that venders account but guess what? he was right back at it with a different handle the next week doing the same thing to other buyers. my point is that its just not worth the trouble bidding when you dont feel right about it. chances are, your first instinct are right and can save you unwanted woes from a dishonest ebayer.
