@mannix: i was planning to get those LD too, but then i saw a voltes tintoy and jumbo..
i was hoping that i could win that tintoy... i've tried my best but must say "bye bye love... see you again sometime..."
anyway.. i was not bid on jumbo, it was out of my budget anyway

when i saw that jumbo Voltes the price was around 20,000yen i think, next day it was more than 100,000 already. there is and LD i saw, with the brown box package, havent checked again if its still there. magengar thanks dude, one of the reason i try to get it because of the art. |

i saw that jumbo around 12500 yen... hoping that everyone anywhere in this world have a connection problem 1 week with the internet except me until the auction end.. hahaha
however, GOD must have not grant me that jumbo yet.. someday maybe

not yet, probably next wk, just got that LD today. i might look for a high scan of the box and try to make a repro.

I keep looking back at those scans... Although I had never seen his series, Voltes sure is one Badazz robot more than meets my eye, I see he's got more tricks up his sleeve (weapons) than most of the other super-robots. Voltes most endearing feature to his fans is probably not only due to the multitude of his weaponry, but more to his finishing move, the Tenkuken V-no jigiri, two very stylistic sword slashes that leaves a brief V sign on the enemy, before the enemy blows up. To tell the truth, Raideen probably has a similar number of attacks that Voltes has. This is a showcase of Voltes' arsenal: |
