Guys, I would like to buy the Mospeada Cyclones but I'm not sure which ones are better. Is it the MEGAHOUSE or the CM's version?
Please help. Thank you!!!

Both have their benefits and their faults, making neither really better or worse. Both are flimsy and tricky to deal with. Both are awfully damn small, though the CM's is smaller. The Megahouse is a bit bigger, but isn't a Perfect Transformation and the figures look like absolute rot, proportion wise, when they don't have armor on and the bike looks overly small. The CM's is a perfect transformation, but has a ton of fiddly bits that don't quite fit together as well as they should and a few more extra fragile parts.
It comes down to picking your poison, alas. Small and plasticy though they may look, I like the way the CM's look proportionally than the Megahouse. You can paint over the bare plastic, but you can't fix proportions or a subpar transformation, unfortunately.

Well said, quinjester. I couldn't have said it any better. Yeah, they're poison! (I'm also talking about the plastic and paint. )

Both of you guys hit the proverbial in the head. Let's hope that the Beagle is worth the $250 + they want for it...

The Beagle is gonna sell for waaaay less than $250 since Toynami is distributing it now. I believe it will be around $150.00 and come with a unique head for it's MP release. www.collectiondx.com/node/2685That's the version I would get.

I think they have already, there pretty much the same except for a Toynami sticker and maybe the instructions are in English.

Thanks GUY! Your information helps me a lot. I just hope BANDAI will make there own Mospeada. I'm pretty sure it will look a lot better.

I don't think Bandai would make one soon, since it doesn't own any of the Mospeada licensing. Not too say that tomorrow they don't pursue it, though.

Oh that's right. I got confused about Macross Takatoku. ;D It was reissued by Bandai.

I love my CMs Ride Armor, fiddly bits and all. I just find it the most aesthetically pleasing and i really love the scale. However, I wouldn't recommend it to anyone because the majority of people find it a pretty lousy piece. The odds are pretty high that you wont like it.
I haven't checked out the MegaHouse one and I probably wont bother with the Beagle. I like ride armors, but I'm happy enough with the CMs to just stick with that. Same goes for the CMs Legioss & Tlead set, although that I would highly recommend. If the looks of it don't bother you, and if you're not concerned with flying the two around linked up, it's a gorgeous piece and a fantastic, durable toy.

"Do you remember that ol' lullaby?"I just bought the CM'S Brave Gokin 18 Ride Armor Blowsperior Yellow Type this evening. Before I begin with my comments and posting comparison pictures of the CM'S and Megahouse ride armors, let me just say that a collector should avoid giving comments on a particular toy unless one actually owns it. Well, I'm speaking about myself and my previous posts on this thread. Anyway, since I have three of the MH ride armors and now this CM'S one, I suppose I can tell you guys that the latter is a lot more fun. Sizes and colors are different with the MH ride armor being more purple and bigger to CM'S blue ride armor. I don't know which is more anime accurate with regards to the color. Although both ride armors are flimsy and tend to have parts falling off whenever they're handled, the CM'S ride armor plastic and diecast parts makes it a sturdier toy, Some details with the tampo prints are different with both products. BTW, the CM'S wheels are rubber. However, you can't trust me with this info since I think I messed up when I stated that the tires for the GX-43 Daimos were plastic instead of very hard rubber. (And I do own the GX-43; in fact, I bought three sets. You'd think I'd bother to check and be absolutely sure what the tires were made of. ) The CM'S head looks more like Lance Belmont from the third season of Robotech whereas the MH head looks more like Yellow Belmont from Genesis Climber Mospeada. (Uh, you guys know I'm kidding, right? ;D) Anyway, the CM'S figure has better joint articulation than the MH one. When I mentioned that the CM'S is more fun, I meant this: Several collectors who bought the CM'S complained about its small size. However, I think it's just the right size, especially if you like to play with smaller action figures. Well, I've yet to transform the CM'S rider armor to armor mode. I'll get to that as soon as I can.

Gakken, gakken, gakken. Yes, I like the older bigger vintage toy. It really worked well too.
