If memory serves, EA, PBM and Big Bad Toy Store and several others are "interconnected"... all of that stuff confuses me. Its done that way for some reason that is beyond my understanding of the situation. PBM is the "head" company it seems, the other companies seem to be some kind of customer of PBM and are at home right now filling orders... PBM does not just sell HLPRO stuff.. they sell EVERYTHING, including more mainstream stuff like Star Wars collectables and things like that. HLPRO products are actually a minor product for PBM in the big picture. In the US, PBMs biggest products in terms of sales volume are products that we aren't usually talking about here. Star Wars and Marvel stuff. According to HLPro, PBM is the "main depot"..what you bought from EA, came from PBMs warehouse.

I don't know what to expect from HLPRO so I may just wait a few more days until somebody posts a review on Gin Gin.
How well do you think it will fair next to grendizer soc scale wise?

They are totally different in style,SOC and Hlpro grendizer are apples and oranges.They are about the same size,but while SOC is better quality,the HLPro is more modern looking.The GinGin wont look right with the SOC,IMHO.Get the HLPro Grendy to go with him,its a very inexpensive figure. |

Humm.... I think I know whats going on..
Buster, the HLpro Grendy is a little bit taller than the SRC and more diecast. Its also in a more traditional sculpt. It is also made to go along with a real fine diecast spazer You can see my reviews on youtube.
the SRC on the other hand comes with a better box and his articulation is better.. no spazer as of yet and I don't think they will get around to making one, my friend Chachi from rocket punch army and collection dx did a good review and comparison yesterday here it is..
I will be doing a Gin Gin review when I get mine but that is going to take a week at least at this rate...but Ill tell you this, a Gin Gin is going to look quite big compared to a SRC Grendy and the style isn't going to match well..
oh sorry, just went back and saw you were asking about SOC not SRC... yeah, Gin Gin is going to look a bit small and out of scale compared to that.. the color scheme and all that isn't going to look like they came from the same series.

I had a feeling about these PBM orders,glad I cancelled with Paul,either all these orders for him are WAY too much for one guy to ship out by himself,or he is just not that eager to ship.As i said the couple times I called him with inquiries he was a bit gruff with me,maybe he just isnt cut out for this business.Im sure he has them,EA had theirs days ago,has anyone's card been charged?.
Ill have pics for you guys in next couple days,mine is one state away now,latest Ill get it is monday according to Fedex.

Hes just coming back from vacation in Europe.. think what he did is fill his store orders to the stores he sells to and has too many individual orders to get done in a timely fashion.. I think he got back either yesterday or today. Wont be long now.. Im pissed that I am not in the first batch of orders though.. Im in the same boat as you guys so don't feel bad.
Baron, give us a rundown as soon as you get it... Im wanting to see the bonus item too.

I should have paid extra for faster shipping,but it seems like the "World Preview" will be from my figure in the next few days!! LOL. What's funny is that I stuck with Paul thinking that since he is the official US distributor and I ordered day one, that I would get it right away (just like I order my Hot Toys from SideShow), but I guess this is not the case with him...He told me he will start shipping it next week...very disappointed if you ask me, but oh well...lesson learned for next time.

yeah totally f**ked up release. In Pauls defense though, hes a real nice guy. I think Baron just caught him at a bad time. another thing we must consider that Gin Gin is really only a big deal to US and Hlpro.. PBM doesn't sell that much of it compared to the other companies that Paul owns.. this is kinda nickel and dime to him. From his point of view a week or two extra wait just doesn't seem like a big deal to him so he probably doesn't see it as a big deal to us either.
Im upset about it though.. same as you guys.

Guys here goes,YOU WILL have a review from me TOMORROW!! Thats right!! He is at my post office today!! BUT since he is in a cage that came in the afternoon he will be put in my box tomorrow,so actually he is 3 days early!! I am a very happy collector,and even more priveleged to share with you guys.Im sure youll get yours soon,but indeed my misgivings about Paul for me were correct,he just isnt shipping til next week because...well as our good friend Tom said ... it isnt that big of a deal to him I guess.Well, I guess customers not purchasing from him in the future wont be a big deal to him either.Word gets around fast,board to board.

Dude!! You DID IT!! You got the WORLD PREMIRE OF GIN GIN, Im happy for you dude!
To all my friends, I will still be doing my video review as normal when I get him so I haven't forgotten about you guys. If the figure is badass than I will let you know, if it sucks Ill point out why.. but Im pretty sure its going to be kick-ass. HLpro himself got his first production model to his office and he told me that it came out f**king NICE as hell.. hes real happy about it. He also says he feels for us that the US fans are getting them a few days AFTER Europe and it doesn't make sense to him. HLpro's heart goes out to us here at RJ, he knew we were waiting on it. Its a big deal to HLpro too..
