Thanks! It looks good enough for me if it is as articulated as Gin Gin.

Is there any foto of Gattaiger docking in the 'spacer' ala Grendizer? All we see now this the standalone Gattaiger and Spacer separately, right?

There is no real reason for him to dock he comes with 2 types of heads or at least one that fit on top showing he is in the ship.Unlike Grendizer Gattaigers arms don't show when docked only the front arrow part.Could be wrong he may fit in there but no reason other than knowing he's inside or play and pretend value.

Ok guys I have an announcement. I have been waiting for about 4 days to hear the results from HLPRO and I just got them. HLPRO ordered a CQ inspection on Gattiger and the results of the investigation showed that some of the paint was sub standard for what HLPRO ordered. They chose to delay the release until all produced units are of the same excellent quality as in the original design specification. The HLPRO team estimates that the correction time will be one month. They said that they would rather have us wait a few more weeks and have all units up to the desired standard then to rush the release with some "sub standard" paint that would disappoint the fans. HLPRO has ordered me to give you this message. "This release will be our finest release to date and we are making sure you will be satisfied to have Gattiger in your collection.. please bear with this small delay and we intend to make it worth your wait."

Based on the brief message I was given, one of the large surfaces on the Flying Tiger (probably the yellow) did not come out to spec. I am under the impression that some of them were a slightly different tone than the others. (possibly bubbles or uneven surface also) This can sometimes happen druing production if a spray nozzle starts wearing during the job or if paint was not completely mixed before application, even a worn air compressor that is not holding steady pressure can cause problems in uniformity, its probably something like that. HL said "We have the time, no one is breathing down our necks so lets get it right, ALL OF THESE THINGS HAVE TO BE EXACTLY THE SAME." Then I asked, "You want me to tell them." He said "Yeah, its better than just leaving them hanging."
I agree with the decision to correct the problem... it shows care and attention to detail.

I still bet its the blue, yellow is an easy color to get uniform, the blue seemed to have some transparaency to it some proto photos, when using a light color primer and a semi translucent paint you can get tonal issues. If it is a color uniformity issue and not a surface issue.I used to work for a sign making company and painted alot using industrial painting equipment, including handsprayers too,and there are a multitude of issues, proper vacuum and ventilation in the booth, temperature, dust, cure time/temperature etc etc,if they are painting in small batches It can be a b*tch to get all of them uniform to each other, but I mean who sees them together all at once? Car paint for the same color/year car can come from several different factories and all slightly different. As long as its uniform and no surface issues, slight color changes within the whole batch shouldnt be an issue.Im excited just want this toy !! want it right too though ofcourse!

They want that paint to exceed expectations.

150-160 USD is cheap for a kit like that compared to the prices elsewhere.
