Thing is, HLPRO is taking suggestions that are appearing on this thread and one of the suggestions was to not show anything that they are working on. Now HLpro wants to keep everything under wraps until it goes on pre-order. They are even considering shutting down the facebook page.

Yeah that's probably a good idea.

I second that....all of these "inside" info get people hyped, then HLPRO can't follow through..example: Grendizer V2
Now regarding shutting down FB page, it's their own decision..if they want to alienate themselves in this day and age then more power to them.

I don't like the way they communicate with their customers eventhough i love their products. This seems to contrast with each other but the fact is that todate no any announcement for the delay of Duke Fleed and the expected new shipping date. They only updated and promoted the new items. For me, deadline is the deadline. It's like you make an appointment with someone and finally he is unable to meet you on time. I believe that you will be happy if he notify you prior to the meeting time that he cannot meet you on time and that he will be available to meet you by the next meeting time. However, they choose to keep quiet with their default to meet the initial release date. I try to check their FB page and their website but nothing update for the matter except for their new products. It's not the way a good organization will treat their customers. I personally don't like this manner.

It amazes me that this "small" group has so much pull in HLPro's decisions. Now they are considering shutting down their FB page? Why not just NOT GIVE a release date/pre-order date on the stuff they are working on instead? I love to see pictures of their work in progress, as many do. It is the uncertainty that kills me. }D

Can we please not quote posts that have a ton of pictures in them? Or delete the photos when quoting... it drives me crazy. This forum really handles pictures poorly.

Ok then. No more info until a figure gets released then.

Moderators, be advised that the photos posted here a publicly available in Facebook. If HLPro wants to piss folks who purchase their figures off, they're on the right track. Chen, seems they haven't changed one bit... }|

Gosh... it pisses me off. "It's my ball, and if you don't let me win, I'm taking it home".
I really hope that the mods tell them to go pack sand...

First of all, this is not HLPro's forum. We could just pull the pics, posts, and quoted that are "affected" rather than shut the thread down. I think that's a little extreme.
If the images were leaked or stolen, then HLPro has a right to control them, but if these are publicly available on their facebook page, I don't see what ground they have to stand on. Are they posted on any other forum on other websites?
On other forums, when material that shouldn't be posted is asked to be pulled, it is usually removed or edited in the specific post(s), if it's in a thread that has already started, like this one.
The only time I have ever seen complete threads deleted on other forums is if a new topic started with the particular material from the first post onward.
Does that make sense to everyone?
And as I said before, you guys all have valid points, but you all go from talking about the figure, to turning up the heat, cooling down, and then right back to the heat again. After one gripe reaches an agreeable point among all, another sets someone off, or it's taken out of context the wrong way. I'm sorry, but that's not facilitated discussion. We haven't gone too far overboard, but let's keep it civil. The point is that this thread is a great resource for these items in the past, now, and in the future. I'd rather not see it go away.

You know, HLPro LOVES to delete anything that does not go with their flow from their FB pages. Comments, pics, comparisons, etc... I guess they think they can do it here as well. I'm sure Ross did not get the new Gin Gin pic from HLPro's server. This is why this entire forum should only be visible to registered users. If anyone wants to check it out, they should register. It is proven to work. As far as Gattaiger day, I'll see how I feel about it, IF that day ever comes. I'm definitely not giving any more props to HLPro products, no matter how great they may turn out to be. HLPro has to earn that now... }|
