On the HLpro site you can see a "G V2".. you know what that is! As for a date, not this year, no way.. I hope maybe end of next year but based on everything they are doing all at once, I would be surprised if my dreams came true. That V2 is a total blockbuster on the level of the Z Mazinger.. no, Its actually gonna be better than Z Mazinger I think. SRC and SOC wont be able to touch it. Not in my opinion at least. Metaltech is destined to become a classic line of chogokins... and in the US market, they are always going to be pretty rare pieces. I treasure mine, they hold a high place of honor in my home, they never fail to attract attention from my guests either.

I'm not counting on the Metaltech line to beat Bandai's SOC and SRC, but at least to come up to par with them. I just hope that, like Riobot, which seems to have exceptional articulation and attention to detail, HL Pro may one day put out an amazing figure... with a good amount of die cast in it. }D

Thanks guys, yeah I'll probably try to put a real pin in there. Droutmaster, I'm not entirely sure if it's actually metal, or just simple aluminum, I assumed it was metal since the MT01 Harken pin was obviously plastic (which broke too) I saw the pin on this one as all shiny and went "hmm.. looks metal. *snap*... oh noes!!!!" In fairness though, the pins snapped when I tried connecting them while Grendizer was holding each Harken with each hand on both occassions. Maybe that's what I'm doing wrong? But I don't see how you're supposed to do Grendizer holding Double Harken with both hands pose otherwise. Hey, thanks for that bit of info on the MT01's head design is from the Manga, totally didn't know that. Thanks TheMazignerZ. Gold

OK guys I was allowed to put out some info on Gin Gin.. Gin Gin is ready for shipping but PBM ordered a bunch of other stuff to be made also. Jumbos, 12" action figures other stuff like that. So to keep the prices lower, PBM is gonna have it all shipped out in one big batch. HLPRO isn't finished making the stuff to finish PBMs order.. its gonna take a few more weeks. Its gonna be worth the wait though because Jumbos and actionfigures have been sold out for a long time now.. and I got to get my hands on a few of those Jumbos. I got my fingers crossed on a new Jumbo but I haven't been told that it is in the order or not. HLPRO casually mentioned a Great Mazinger jumbo a few months back... I hope that that could be the hold up. That angle of this message is all me though.. I could be wrong on that, so don't hold me to it.
In the meantime, I ask you guys to be patient and wait for the US release. PBM laid out a lot of money to have these made for us and we should support Paul by not buying a overseas model. As Fans and collectors we need to make the US sales numbers look as good as possible and support our local market. That is not HLPRO saying that its me saying that. Besides the wait will only be a few weeks longer than other markets. I cant wait to get my hands on a few of those jumbos.. so Im happy to wait a few weeks just for that.
As for Gattiger release date, no date was given, but based on my feelings I would say next year. In 6 months we will know a lot more.
and Mazinger Z when I say "blow it out of the water" Im talking mostly on a "spiritual level". something about HLpro sculpts and proportions just look better to me. Even stuff like the Mothership and the TFO... that little TFO is outstanding. I even like my Trike and it seems to be the least popular MT... that Trike I think is gonna be real rare one day.

Gold, I usually put the fists on the harkens then snap the fists on the arms then just connect the harkens .. once hes like that you gotta be careful not to move those arms too much outside the limitations of the double harken stance.. I usually got one of my MTs with the double harken just held in one hand the other hand a flat hand in some kind of pose like hes getting ready to do a slashing attack. But if memory serves that pin is just glued into a hole in the shaft, should just yank out with a needle-nose.

I think the pin is only removable for the MT01' (chrome) and not for the MT01? The MT01 Harken connection seems like it was part of the molded plastic? Gold

I was going to cancel my Gin Gin order with PBM cause EntertainmentErath has is for cheaper, but Paul matched the price for me and I'm going to stick with him to show support from our little community.

Gold, its not logical to make two different molds for the Harken blades when you can get away with one.. Im sure that pin is just a plug that has been glued in there. Could be that you don't have enough surface to grab on to. In that case there is a tool for that ( I think its called a pin-drill) that is used in making models. Its like a mini hand powered drill press.. for a guy that has a tendency to break stuff, that may be a good tool to have around. I don't think they cost that much and you could then open a little service here fixing things like that.
edit I just looked it up and the tool is called a Pin Vise.. they run about 10 bucks..

This is the best news that I have heard from HL Pro! Awesome, I cannot wait to pre-order their version of Z-Mazinger. Lejam, Could you please check your computer for viruses? I have Sophos Endpoint Security and Control on my work PC, and everytime I see a post from you with a linked image the image fails to load and I get a Sophos pop-up message stating that it was blocked due to a virus. My computer is brand new, clean and no surfing in weirdo seas. It's probably due to the online uploader : postimage.org/Here comes other picture : and this : This time I did not get the block messages. So yeah, it sounds that the image up-loader is infected.

Hi all,
I also emailed Paul of PBM a few weeks ago if he could price match EE. He did price match, and sent me a new invoice showing the adjusted price. Am supporting PBM USA!
Cheers,

I think making just this minor adjustment the SOC looks much better and way less toy like, anime accuracy improves! Ofcourse the grey waist needs adjusting {shrinking on the sides} like the custom done a ways back, but just the shrinking of the horns by 10% really helps this figure..what do ya think??
