hey thanks guys... I may try to do more of those videos... but I feel so self conscience. .. but kind of fun too.
yeah I would like to try comics at some point.. but most of my portfolio is geared at games and advertising at the moment. Would like to push for more comic fun stuff.

I am sooooo jealous! I really wish I could do that. Fantastic!!! Yeah, I'd totally like to see you on a run of Hulk or Thor any comic for that matter! Did you use a WACOM?? And what kind if you did??

hey recca, hahaha thanks man. oh yeah I use a wacom. but I use a cintiq 20' . It allows you to draw straight on the monitor. I just got it this year and its been my baby (which probably stopped me from buying any large toy purchases.. but well worth the money!). I can't tell you how much faster it is to do art.. no more scanning, no more erasing those hard spots)
my old process was to rough sketch thumb nails 3X3 squares.. scan it, blow it up large and redraw it more detailed (and repeat if necessary if it got too busy). Just to get the drawing tight.
My friend was just looking at the cintiq prices recently.. if you're thinking of getting one.. keep watching the prices. I kept my eye on it all early last year and i caught it at a good time... where the canadian dollar went up. I'm sure the price will go down... although I think their smallest cintiq has a pretty stable price (I don't think it changed)

Vince, that's outstanding man. You have the real knack for nailing the features and proportions without erasing, retrying, erasing, retrying... I'm envious! It's cool to see you in action!

hey thanks Rob. I try to stay loose early on I find helps.. but this was just loose sketch.. If i were to something more finished I think I would probably take my time and work and finese it more (more erasing )

Hey, those Wacom tabs ROCK!!! Someday soon I'd like to fetch me one of those Wac's.... then I wouldn't have to draw with a mouse anymore; especially when I'm drawing/touching up super-large images for my backgrounds and textures in my 3D modeler, and also when I'm modifying photos and portraits. I'll bet they're also handy for 3D modeling, too. zozo-Magengar hey recca, hahaha thanks man. oh yeah I use a wacom. but I use a cintiq 20' . It allows you to draw straight on the monitor. I've never tried modeling with it since I got my cintiq. But I would be interested in taking a shot at zbrush again. Have you used it before? really awesome for organic sculpting

so cough.. if you guys wanna subscribe on to youtube account or rate I think that will help me get out there a bit more (shamless plug) I'll try to do another this week maybe just doodling. I think i know how to create the camera settings so that its not set on "sea sick mode"

That is SICK, Vince! Wolvie's one of my faves. I'll have you know, that because of your artistic stunts, I went out and bought a wacom this week. I've yet to set it up, but I'm really excited to get cracking on it. It's just a small Intuos3, but I gotta start somewhere. I don't think I can produce anything quite your caliber but I think this is going to be a fun and refreshing tool. Great work, man! I felt like I was at a con or something! LOL! What's/who's next?

Sweeeeeeeeettt. I'm excited for you. wacom gives you so much freedom to do so much. I love the pressure sensitivity... it adds so much character. It's tricky at first to move on your screen without being to see your hand.. but the more you use it the easier it gets. can't wait to see what you do with it.

Ahhh.... an old Childhood fantasy in 2D! Maybe it's just me, but she does have that "please don't look at me dirty" look to her. ;D
As always, awesome work, Vince!
Makes me want to buy a computer and whatever software you're using!
