At last, I forced myself to boot up the good old PS2 to give Persona 4 a spin. Interesting story so far, but it took forever for the game to begin for real. After over two hours of "gameplay", I had only got into two fights and a half.
And what's wrong with that kid? That jingle isn't catchy at all. Why does she keep singing it every time it comes up on TV? Can I throw her into the TV on a foggy night? Can I? Please let me do it.
...
It might not sound like it, but I do like that game.

I fired up Bioshock in anticipation for the sequel coming out next February. Since I've already played through the regular game, I thought I try out Survivor Mode. Holy crap, those splicers are kicking my arse.

Finally got back to finish the solo campaign on Tom Clancy's End War on PS3 (voice-recognition never gets old). For some reason I just stopped at one point in favour of Marvel Ultimate Alliance 2 and Batman Arkham Asylum.
A little bit of Rock Band 2, of course.
Looking to pick up Force Unleashed Ultimate Sith Edition over the holidays in anticipation of the sequel announced at the Spike VGA show. Never played it when it first came out so now's a good opportunity to get a bunch of the DLC bundled with the game for a decent price.
Other than that, it's been Defense Grid on PC (I grabbed it on Steam for only $10). Almost done. So maybe I'll play through Dawn of War 2 again while I wait for the Chaos Rising expansion.

Been playing Torchlight this week. I had the demo downloaded on Steam for the longest time and never got around to trying it. It's a Diablo-like game. Apparently a lot of ex-Blizzard folks worked on it. Anyway, I finally tried it and then the following day, decided to buy the full version... and found out that the previous day I had just missed a 1-day sale on Steam! (I paid $10, which is not bad at all, but it could have been only $5). Oh well.

Yeah, Steam is taking my wallet for an open bar these days. As if my backlog wasn't long enough already.
I thought the Command & Conquer Red Alert 3 bundle (RA3 + Uprising) for $19.99 was a nice deal when I got it two days ago from Direct2Drive. Today, Steam goes and lower them to $10.19 for the main game and $6.79 for the expansion. $3 less than what I paid, plus the option of buying only the main game for less, if you don't feel like playing as a super powered psychic Japanese schoolgirl.
And $9.99 for Street Fighter 4, even with Super SF4 coming, was sick. I thought it was already insane to see it go for $19.99 so soon when I got it.

Was playing Fat Princess for a little bit. However, I'm not getting too into it as I still have to beat Dead Space on Impossible. Plus, Bayonetta is right around the corner!

Anyone played The Saboteur yet? Been wanting to check on how the game is.

Just finished up Ar Tonelico 2... now I have to decide whether to pick up AT1, try to finish Devil Summoner 2, Wild Arms 3, or Suikoden 3...
... I really should know better than to pick up and try to play multiple RPGs at once.

I really should know better than to pick up and try to play multiple RPGs at once. And yet, somehow the lure is irresistible. I always end up doing the same thing. I switched over to the DS for most of the the holidays after getting blasted by multiple cheap game overs in P3 (I was on my way back to Tartarus' save point, got into a normal encounter..."one more can't hurt," I thought to myself. Two regular monsters got three critical hits in one round, all targeting a full health MC...and there went ~4 hours of leveling and item harvesting). Played through Professor Layton and the Diabolical Box, Flower, Sun and Rain, and Scribblenauts, and I just started Theresia this week. Good times all around. I really do want to get back to P3, though...despite everything I'm starting to miss it. (!?)

It's permanently set to "hard mode", too, which makes it even more painful. ... and I have to finish Digital Devil Saga 2, too. Argh! Why do I do this to myself? I just bought Wild Arms 5, too...
