Was playing Final Fantasy 7 Remake...finished that and moved on to The Last of Us 2 and finished that too.
Now, playing Ghost of Tsushima. All have been very enjoyable.

It's visceral and downright terrifying. The hospital chapter called "Ground Zero" will make you cry for Mommy, LOL. |

Ooh, CAN'T wait!! See, this is why i trust RJ bros' reviews... FF7R is still my fave of the trio of stud releases this spring/summer...but, you can't be wrong with any of them. The LBGTQ aspect in The Last of Us 2 is definitely different but, it does not feel forced or artificial. It's an organic part of the storyline and yeah, that story is really good stuff. I dare anyone to play the Ground Zero chapter in the dark with the headphone volume turned up.  Momma that chapter's boss too. |

Finished Ghost of Tsushima a couple weeks ago. Happy with the 87% completion rate...probably not going to try for 100% as I did for TLoU2.
At this point, probably take a break from gaming despite having God of War (the new one). I played it for a bit but could not get into it.

Playing God of War right now myself. It starts much slower than the "greek" ones, but it gets much, much better.
Pleasantly surprised by the change in gameplay, too.

Playing Captain Tsubasa on PS4. It's been many years since I have played a good Tsubasa game (SNES Captain Tsubasa III). And finally we have one that looks great and plays well after all these years. It has its fair share of bugs and issues, but it succeeded in bringing back the feels of the anime, the old games, but with really nice visuals. Having some good fun right now. Though Captain Tsubasa while popular worldwide, is of lesser known in the States. So there may not be a lot of local copies of the English version where you live. But you can always get the digital download from PS Store if interested.

Trying out Triangle Strategy on Switch.
Wow….. it’s not half good as Final Fantasy Tactics. The ONLY thing impressed is the background and spell effects.
IMHO, it has a Horrifically Bad (cringy and boring) dialogues, bad pacing, blurry character sprites (wth), uninspiring voice acting (I’m playing on Japanese Voice at that)….tired GOTesque story, on and on….
Octopath is a MUCH better game if you’re looking for similar visual tho it’s a different genre.

Playing Gran Turismo 7, re-igniting my love for cars in gaming.
While the game gets a good upgrade in terms of graphics, feel, and the car nerd experience (making decals, hyper realistic photos, and short videos of you decked out cars is so much fun), it got a lot of controversies when it comes to the push of microtransactions implemented, high car prices, and lowered in-game money you can earn. The devs are addressing some of the issues (after being called out and review bombed by fans to oblivion on Metacritic user rating), hopefully the franchise can turn around for the better. Just sad to see decades old franchise and goodwill built all these years got tarnished so easily by greed of the higher ups, while lower level developers and artists worked their asses off to make a beautiful game, and now their baby project got a bad rep.
Even if you are not a car nerd, you can feel the passion just by watching this 8 min intro of the game. Yup, 8 min intro, when you start the game for the first time.
