This is the Hay Day of Robots in lego. I wish we had these when I was a kid. Everything from robots in star wars to their own mecha line and bionicle. Plus mega Blox has their own mecha as well.
I bet with a hand full of these kits a pretty sweet robot could be made.

*sigh* these had arrived just too late for me. Too bad, because as an adult looking back, I think if I had been just a little younger (maybe 5 or 10 years) I would have loved the robot-themed sets. I just remember seeing these back then and thinking, "what ugly robots!"

and of course, y'all saw my Lego Voltron VV (Dairugger XV). I wish ExoForce would have continued as a line, it was great, but i feel they cheapened the 2nd year.

Exo Force has made its way to my local big lots.
I bet Exo Force and mind storms could be combined to make some cool mobile mecha.

Yeah, I've always wanted to build a "functioning" giant robot with Mindstorms. In retrospect, some of those robots were pretty blocky. Rose colored glasses, I guess. After the sets fell apart, I always ended up using the parts to fuel my army of quirky little robots. I must've built dozens of the little guys. Ah, the days of youth...

EXO-FROCE is pretty sweet. Are they discontinuing the line? It's still on the product page - waaay in the back. So, huh. I guess they are. If you've not gotten any, pick up Aero-Booster exoforce.lego.com/en-us/Products/Humans/8106%20.aspx. It reminds me of the Meteor Unit in Gundam Seed. My nephew and his never really got into that line. It seems like if there isn't a cartoon tied into the product, they've got no idea what to do with it. They're all about reinacting scenes with their Star Wars legos. It's a little more than distressing, actually.
