Should I get Unit 01 or Unit 02 first? Or should i just get both of them and the eventual release of Unit 00 as well? I dont know.....guess i've been a revoltech fan for too long. Makes me hard to believe that these figures would be as good as they are. Will i truely be happy with them if i double-dip this time and get the Bandai versions to stand next to the Revoltech figures i already have? Reason being....i want to save up for that Chogokin Gunbuster and more figmas.....heh heh heh.... |

i think you can afford 30 or 60 for both!! and turst me you will not be dissapointed..... you could always sell off your revotechs to ease the cost lol I have eva 01 on the way as we speak

They have quite a few in stock still, but I have to sort of be selective. I went with the Revo Alien instead. Ah well, I guess I'll have to live with my Movie Realization Eva. I don't own any of the Revo Evas; hate to say it, but it looks like this RD Eva blows the RD Eva out of the water in terms of articulation. Something about the proportions and paint job makes this figure really pop. Really a nice representation from the new movie, which is sweet BTW. Highly recommend picking up the new EVA 1.11 Blu ray.  |

Oh HELL i'll get both of em! ;D And i agree that Eva 1.11 on blu ray looks glorious. But do you know what will look even better? Eva 2.22 on Blu ray thats what! I already have the japanese import on pre-order. If you guys thought Eva 1.11 was good you havent seen anything yet! Eva 2.22 and all the action that abounds in the movie blows the previous movie out of the water 3 times over! Think i'm joking? I kid you not! Take a look at this trailer i posted below. I can't wait to recreate most of these dynamic moves with my Robot Damashi Eva figures. Mechamasterj, when you give the photo review of your Unit 01 and Unit 02 give try to recreate the dynamic action sequences seen in the trailer above.  |

Common misconception amongst longtime Evangelion fans, Gainax has nothing to do with these new movies. Studio Khara a brand new upcoming studio is currently producing all the new Eva films, with NGE tv series director Hideaki Anno at the healm. Gainax only manages the merchandising and licensing issues related to new toys, figures, etc.... But Studio Khara a new studio that was birthed in 2004 is handling all the work with animating and so forth. Although much of the staff working on the new movies were former Gainax staff, there is no formal "Gainax" involvement with these movies. Heh. Can't wait for your photo reviews as well Recca. Bring it on!  |

yeah i have got like over 100 pictures lol so it will be a thumbnail event im afraid, havent watched the trailer yet but i still got a few days before i get eva 01 unless the post man brings me something special tomorrow!!

sachiel: Wha..!? I didn't even think about that. Well Kudos to Studio Khara! Helluvajob! Seriously though. Really looking forward to the second movie. I'm sure Hideaki Anno is going to throw out as many questions as he does answers in the next one. So is this to be a 4 part story or a 3 part?? I've heard both.... @mmj: Can't wait to see 'em, dude!
