I have not seen tekkaman for about 15 years and even then they edited the 12 episodes down to a handful that were looped every saturday morning after dragonball. But I do not remember this big robot. I just remember the main character jumping inside some sort of ship or something with his arms open and it forming tekkaman around him. Is this from a later series or the original.

lol thats where I first saw it too. They really chopped up the series and I think they cut it short and never aired past the first season (or the full season at least). Yes pegas is that robot he jumped into to transform. I believe that this was the latest version of tekkeman as there was an older one that aired long time ago.

Yeah, the older one dealt with transvestites and such and they had to chop it like crazy. I never saw the full version. I used to have to get up at 6am on Sundays cause that was the only anime I could watch then. We had regular TV and fox threw a bone of two animes early in the mornings before the church programs came on. I like the tekkaman figure, but not too keen on the Pegas. If revoltech made a tekkaman, I would likely get it over this, even though this still tempts me.

"transvestites"?!!! Hmmm, If I remember correctly, there are 3 Tekkaman series/mini series:
1. Tekkaman (old as hell), but no transvestites if I remember correctly. The Microman Tekkaman figure is from this series.
2. Tekkaman Blade (also known as Teknoman in USA), and the one these Bandai SPEC figures are from. However, I think the "mechanic" was a transvestite... not too sure.
3. Tekkaman Blade II (this one did have a very powerful tranvestite Tekkaman... I think).

Thats just what I read online years ago. I never saw a full version to verify the transvestitism.

The Pegas looks kind of ... I dunno. Dull. Maybe it's the light pastel colors. It just doesn't do it for me.

Which company is in charge of that big guy on the top left ?
This Tekkaman reminds me the old school toys... Like the mospeada alpha fighter from Gakken, of course not the design but the articulation system, the plastic... I love it !
