From their site it looks like you can new heads that look like Defensor and Devastator, made out of resin too but not painted. Some more Gestalt love, Predaking! www.igear.tf08.net/?p=437

I thought Predaking never had back mounted cannons?
Tantrum and Headstrong have back mounted cannons that turn into Predaking's feet.

Nice!! Swindle is now a Hummer! A proper modernization for the character! The funny thing is that Blast-Of is still a space shuttle...

The price is a lot lower than I thought it would be. Think of it this way, excluding the two bots you're already getting a lot more than the Superion set came with. Then add in the two bots which really could be close to $40 individually (considering the Perfect Effect Shadow Warrior is almost $40 and not as nice as these) and you've got a set that could easily have sold for $130, but is under $100. That's a really great deal.

But I am concerned if there is going to be any more parts to come, like the head or whatever. That's why I think it might get expensive.

Wait... let me get this straight.
Are Fans Project releasing: a. A complete add on set for Bruticus (head, hands, feet, etc. sans their version of Swindle and Blast Off, and if you want you can get the additional Set A or Set B, OR: b. They're releasing Set A which contains Blast Off plus some parts of their Bruticus add-ons and Set B which contains Swindle plus the rest of the Bruticus add-ons?
Somebody please enlighten me! I'm truly in the dark here!

I see... that how it works.
However, the new Swindle and Blast-off are much better sculpted and articulated than the bundled Brawl and Vortex. I think the difference would be like night and day ;D!

Any chance of another Groupbuy to beat BBTS's prices?

I will hit them up and see. We will likely need 11 people for sure, and we may be able to make it happen.

It's such a shame that they only made Superion and Bruticus, Defensor was always my favorite and I would love to have seen updated versions of Abominus, Piranacon, Computron etc. Who knows, maybe they'll just make them themselves since they started making actual figures instead of just accessories.

I'd do a group buy for sure. Hard part will be finding a movie Bruticus, my local Target never got it...
