I'm resurrecting this thread from the dead. What do you think the going rate for one of these Jumbo Voltes V figures would be right now? I was curious myself. Did a quick search, and found an auction in 2017 from Mandarake had one with some flaws that closed at 1.4 million yen, with 9 bids. But even I can tell Voltes V Jumbo is among some of the rarest. Something not minty that can still cost $10000, it is way out of my league.  |

But even I can tell Voltes V Jumbo is among some of the rarest. Something not minty that can still cost $10000, it is way out of my league. I would buy it right now if one like that (box, figure, wheel accessory, paperwork, unused sticker sheet) was available for purchase right now. I can't believe another one has not resurfaced at auction there since 2017. |

From my personal folder of YJP auctions:
July 2022 $3416 loose, missing fists and accessories
Dec 2021 $18027 complete box piece
Dec 2021 $8567 Loose, missing left fist, missing sword. Did have wheel truck and ankle block
Oct 2021 $4963 loose, missing fists, accessories, did have chest piece
June 2021 $3583 loose, rough, missing fists, etc, etc. Was hoping it was going to sell lower and fix it up.
July 2021 $12046 box piece, didn't have wheel truck or ankle block
June 2021 $6084 loose, bit rough, did have fists and wheel truck. Was surprised it went this high. So, the current Buy It Now doesn't seem crazy

Great info about Jumbo Voltes V! Im expecting it will fetch more specially when the Live adaptation of Voltes V air this coming 2023!

But yeah, its still pricey as I was at least hoping it would include a sword. Boxed comps are in a whole league of their own! Wow! |
