any giant robot show was regarded as "Mazinger", but this one is Red Baron.

Too bad there is no (perceived) market by Bandai for a line of SOC Mazinger villians. I know I'd buy them.

Maybe it's an upgrade of this "Mazinger": ;D ;D ;D heh i used to have that movie on VHS when i was little, I always wonder if Mazinger Z has initials of MZ then why on his belt has MB?. later on over the years I learned that the robot in reality is called Mach Baron, is just that in Spain they translated it and change its name to Mazinger Z: El Robot de las Estrellas( The Robot from the Stars) altering as well footages from the episodes and make it into a movie. Altough i already know is not really Mazinger Z but Mach Baron, it left an impact in its own way. i wouldn't mind if the SOC they bring this robot into the group. I think there is one already but in another line of figure. as for the guy making the Mazinger's enemies, there pretty awesome. I also notice it has the other 3 other robots from the Mazinger team Million Alpha, Baion Beta and Daion Gamma. and as well the Shin Dragon. really impressive.

so in some point , Energer Z will be show as a prototype on the works? for the looks of it on that pic that has no head nor the chest panels. So i guess in some point he will have that red color scheme.

Once again Bandai has screwed up the robot/pilot scale. Notice the size of Energer's pilot and motorcycle compared to the Shin Mazinger's Hover Pilder. I truly hate it when companies don't pay attention to detail on such expensive figures!
