I can't imagine I'm the only DB/Z/GT/Kai fan here. One of the latest announcements for the S.H. Figuarts series -- dominated by Kamen Rider -- is a surprise offering in the form of Piccolo, not Goku! Haven't seen a colored pictures, but HLJ comes through with some unpainted pics. Looks fantastic, lots of accurate details without looking too realistic. Looks to have quite a bit of heft to him as well and the crossed arms are a big bonus. I'm really looking forward to this, ever since Kai started airing I've been binging on Dragon Ball figures, I've got 21 items on preorder at HLJ as of now... Bring on Goku and Vegita! Emerje |

I have a couple of the Hybrid figures that I liked. These looks decent. I don't collect much DBZ stuff though.

thats cuz most DBZ stuff is crap!! the hybrids are about the only one ones worth collecting asside from the super expensive RAH figures.
BTW I am (or was) a DBZ fan. I hope the line expands which I am sure they will cuz I have no idea why they started with piccalo! Not a fan of him so ill pass but sure to pick up a goku and the invitable super saiyan releases lol

Yeah, saw this at HLJ too and was quite excited! Finally, getting some decent representation of DBZ figs! Can't wait!

I knew this was going to happen!! Finally a high end set of DBZ figs, hopefully they'll follow up with some One Piece offerings.... looks like Bandai's plan to bring down Revoltech with Robot Damashii and SH Figuarts is starting to pick up some serious steam!

Yes it is because they are picking cool arse characters, though, since there arent any moe chars (I think there is one magical princess though lol). Looks like they are covering the male side of things to a large degree, however they do seem to be sticking with armored or suited characters. But, DBZ is a sure sign they will go with the more traditional heros!! Great stuff!

The Figure looks great.  but I am not is much of a collector for the DBZ stuff.  I used to be a big fan of the series until I saw that Joke of an excuses for a film "Dragon Ball Evolution"  Thanx |

Just be like the rest of us and pretend it never happened (though I probably will rent it from a Red Box for $1 when it hits DVD for laughs). Don't let one little movie kill the entire franchise for you.

LOL When it came out I actually went to the theater with the intention of watching, took another look at the poster, and left. I kept telling myself, "everyone said Speed Racer was horrible, but I liked that. How bad could this be?" But I just couldn't convince myself enough. I think I'm a better person for it. Emerje |

And you are! BTW i didnt think the speed racer movie was all that bad either..... sure it was capable of inducing epleptic seziures but a decent movie when you put all the bright a$$ colors aside. Not like the original cartoon was full of great scripts in the first place!

I can only imagine that this may lead to a Sailor Moon or something set.... Also I liked the Speed Racer movie as well. It also looks like there MAY be a Char Aznable Figuarts on the way too! The second "Jibun Damashii" figure is Char and it's got a Figuarts body!! Ronin Warriors and Tekkaman Blade too in the Armor Plus spin off series.... And let's not forget the Showa era Kamen Riders. Thanks for posting the link, gpa. Lots of tempting stuff in there. It is surprising that Piccolo wasn't shown considering his release isn't all that far off and they're showing stuff set for December at TTS. I'm sure it's only a matter of time.

I would like to see these people make some Rockman Collection from the Original to the latest one(like when bandai use to do them). but saddly my only Rockman figures are of of Megaman X and Zero and Megaman Exe protoman EXE and BAss EXE =(.
