FINALLY. I've been flipping through Hobby Japan, lusting after a plastic kit of a mech from Muv-Luv for at least the past 5 or 6 years. The Resin GKs that have been the only form of the mechs until now were just too much trouble & expense for me to bother with. This is great news! ;D

Ever since first seeing all of the images in Hobby Japan, I've been searching through Hobby Link Japan and other e-sores searching, and all I've come up with are the resin kits. *EDIT* ... I just found some large-scale action figures on BBTS made by volks. Oh well; I'm still looking forward to the plastic kits. Much easier on the wallet than the Volks figures.

Yeah the ones they have listed there are event editions so they cost more. They are still kinda expensive and even more so since you cant by them directly since volks only ships within japan. Still, you can get some for around 80 used on YJA and rhough proxy services like Tokyo Hunter, who I highly recommend.

So Griffon enterprise (whoever they are) are going to make Armored core figures, well at least one if it comes to fruition. 9 Ball and Dual core are the first. They are going to be made of PVC and around 120 mm tall. info from ngee Khiong. This is good to hear, but I wish they would skip straight to 9 Ball Seraph.

Yeah; I'm familiar with Tokyo Toy Hunter; considering enlisting his aid on tracking down a 400% Sync Rate Eva. Re. The Armored Core: Those trading figures look cool, but I HATE the fact that they're PVC. I'd rather they made 'em in ABS or polystyrene. That bendy rubber seems to always end up getting warped over time.

O wow! Ialdabaoth looks so nice. Way too tempting! The articulation on this is sweet. I've missed out on the last few SRW Plamo. I might have to preorder this. Looking forward to Compatible Kaiser too. Although, E2046 has a nice GK recast of the Burviary System version CK. Looks like I can't spell today. Plus my computers a bit glitchy! Burivary System. Official Site btw: www.burivary.com/

I wonder if Bandai is even aware or Consciencious about how they're competeing with Kaiyodo at this point...
For a while there, Kaiyodo started out kickin ass with their Revoltech figures (and I DO luv their figures, especially their spare Revo joints parts), then things kinda quieted down at their end; and suddenly Bandai breaks out with this new line called SRC and are spielin out all these cool super-robots and mechas SRC figures that are just sooo totally WOW! kickin revoltechs to the curb. ;D

I think many of the other manufacturers will take their sweet time even Trying to respond to this by trying to out-do whatever the Leading manufacturer is doing to make their product successfully approved by a wide consumer base. We're already seeing evidence of that in a certain newly-released toy line by a famous manufacturer. <grin>
I'm curious to see a perspective list showing the top ten toy manufacturers, with brief overview of their products, and rating score for each manufacturer. Just to get a glimpse at their popularity rating. ;D

This whole time I thought the Front Mission play arts were mini figures. Looks like they are over 5." I am still not sure if that justifies their $45+ price tag.

The composite term is purely marketing - the toys themselves are 100% plastic, and are kind of like "detailed-up" Robot Damashiis.

hmm well so far damashis have a better range of articulation than these composites however, they seem to be getting better with each iteration. oh and WANT!!
