Great art work! Of course it qualifies as art. There is a well established tradition in contemporary art of using photography, collage, and digital tools for artistic expression. Just take a look at the works of Andy Warhol, Takashi Murakami, and Yosh*tomo Nara. They all draw inspiration and elements from pop art to create their works. What could be more representative of modern Japanese popular culture than Giant Robots slugging it out in urban environments? Keep up the good work.
