Hey Sketcher, Thanks for noticing I was gone. It's been a while; my online time has been seriously cut back since I started my current job and some of my regular haunts are a lot less regular. Looks like I may have a few spare hours over the next couple of weeks though... I'm not hijacking the Baltan thread with pics but I've added the odd thing (my Ark is complete!) (-ish), I'll try and put some pics up elsewhere. I'm looking forward to seeing what you've added as well, and that pull back shot of KingboyD's kaiju shelf. *Edit* I've thrown a few random pics up in the gallery. Hail Baltan!  |

OK, you guys inspired me. I've been wanting to rearrange my stuff for a looooong time (I just wasn't happy with the setup - I'd just been adding new pieces where they fit with no thought of flow), but I just couldn't find the energy to do it. Well, I finally did it yesterday so I could post these pics. Also, there were a few pieces I had been trying to sell, but I decided to just keep them and add them to the shelves, so I had to make room. Anyway, here's my new setup:

Wow! Vinyl funk explosion.
Are the two man-monsters on the same shelf as Hipportio and the Bandai Jet Jaguar the Gargantuas? (Gaira & Sanda?) Great looking figures!

Yes they are. They are Marusan issues, but several other companies made renditions of these too. The green Gaira is one of my favorites!! (but I have to admit that I don't particularly like the brown Sanda much - I just wanted to complete the set)

Is that from the boxed 1" set? Yes. I have others I wanted to include in this shot but they were packed away somewhere. Mostly SD and smallish figures. |

Cool. When I was packing everything up for storage, my little one got his hands on that boxed set, and it took all I had to pry it from his grip!! I recently picked up a second set that I plan on gifting them for the holidays. That way, I can have my nice boxed set packed away, and they can have one to rip into and leave around for my dogs to eat. Now everyone (including the dogs) will be happy. ;D
