I was never a fan of these in the past, but Ed showed me one, and I started to appreciate the charm of them. Plus the idea that you could take this toy with you anywhere is pretty cool! Is this one actually metal or just chromed plastic?

Heh, I had one of these when I was little. Mine was a black version of the one seen in this commercial:
LOL - it's like the original six-changer... as long as you let your imagination go. Turn it upside down, turn it sideways... put his arms up, put them down... ;D

Well ,this is loose....I really have no idea about the cost...But I guess a loose one could even worth 100 or 150 USD..I collect mostly Takara stuff from Henshin to Diaclone throug Microman and I'm a;most at the end of my collection(the whole content of the book TAKARA SF LAND).It is from the late microman line called Microchange.I miss this item and I have really cool Microman and Diclone stuff to trade and I'm willing to purchase too, eventually. Please write me an email ASAp to:

Victleo is correct as to the origin of this watch. This watch was never part of Takara's Microman line. The only transforming watch in the Microman Microchange line was MC-06 which is a non calculator transforming watch. Here is a nice page with a breakdown of the full Microchange line: 1501bc.com/pretf/mm_toys.htmlHere is a Kronoform release of MC-06 as well as a few bootlegs of that watch from my collection. The strap on the black bootleg version belongs to the Kronoform version which was $3 and the loose bootlegs I bought for $1 each at this year's Botcon. If you're interested in more info about the full line of Watch Q/Kronoform released watches, this myspace page seems to have a lot of info on them include pics, and videos (one of which is a fan made animation): www.myspace.com/1000626355Cool piece!

Holy crap... I vividly remember having that black one in your last photo. But somehow I also recall the catalog photo tha myspace guy posted and that I desperately wanted to collect all those variations of Kronoform (particularly the spider one and the jet one)... How could I have had that catalog if mine was a knock-off? Hmm... we shall never know.
And yes, that dude's commentary rings true: wristhingyches ceased to be cool the moment Swatch made us sick of them...

-You guys seen the watch that turns into a megatron like mini gun with silencer?
I think it was in Takara's Q line..

There is a black real one as well. Maybe you had the real thing. Recently there have been some cool mods of the Real Gear Meantime from Transformers. Here's a page with one: tformers.com/ig.php?mode=album&album=8462&dispsize=Original&start=0quote author=benohki board=Takaramicro thread=15164 post=182180 time=1264635362]Holy crap...
