During the 70s, there is a Japanese children magazine that had a lucky draw. The first six prizes won a Voltes V Jumbo. I wish I could win one.

Those look SchwEEt! Hey, that reminds me, I'm gonna gather up some old vintage Japanese TV commercials of the Popy jumbos and join them into one large movie and upload it here at RJ soon. Some of them are quite funny, but overall super-cool. ;D zozo-mag

those were amazing...but no wonder they are rare...how many fell apart, because a kid didnt tighten the bolts tight, and then they got thrown in the trash Maybe so people should start digging up old dump sites....thats where the real treasure is.... i have found lots of great items, where people use to dump their garbage over the hill sides.. I bet someone could access the old dumps in Japan ?

Thanks for sharing those. It's the first time I see the Daidenjin one and the first time I see how it should transform into ship mode. Seems more complicated than what I was thinking. I always thought it was like Combattler V and Voltes V, folding at the ankles and that's mainly it. But it seems you have to put it appart and put it back another way to have the ship.
Hope to be able to find a Daidenjin soon, it's the only one I'm missing now, very last one on the list.

not really many garbage dumps in japan, as "recycling centers" burn everything and use it as landfill. there are the three garbage islands out in the water about 6 miles from osaka. but theyre patrolled by security and no one is supposed to go there. maybe a low prospect looking for anything specific except pampers floating around.

Wow I love those giant wheels on that Daidenjin!
A really great set of Robot Factory Instructions! They are good enough to want to frame and hang for display!
Was the GodSigma one of the last(or possibly the 1st)?? I ask because I see its simply black and white art.
