Pretty cool and BIG figure. I got the GDX set when it first came out. I also recently got the Black "Face Open" Gaiking for $30 on Ebay, and it is VERY nice indeed!!!

The Raiking is a bit top heavy. Cannot balance it properly. Anyway to make it stand properly without collapsing every now and then? BTW, I asked my friend to come over to have a look. Now he has taken it home with him. Now I have to reorder 1 again.  |

I love mine, but trying to get Raiking's wings on and off of Gaiking is a bit harrowing.

Now he has taken it home with him. Now I have to reorder 1 again. I just bought a "Doll Stand" for it (about $5 USD). It works great and I didn't have to glue the knees. BTW, that must be a real good friend you got there, to let him just walk away with the figure without putting a baseball bat to the back of his skull before he reached the door...! ;D }D |

Does anyone know if CMS (?) is still going to a metal version for Gaiking the Great (with all three robots)? I think I saw a picture months again during Wonderfes

Other than those initial photos, we haven't heard anything, but CM's is still working its way through the TONS of stuff it showed there. Once Gordion and the Aestivalis are released we may hear more. The GDX Gaiking set is something I keep waffling on getting... in the end it comes down to space. I simply don't have any for such a huge set  . If people want to post more pictures for those of us without it, though, I don't think anyone will complain  |

It is a pretty simple doll stand. I guess it could be used for 12 inch action figures as well. They are sold in small, medium, and large sizes. I got mine from Wal-Mart:  Hope that helps. ;D }D |
