It's the Fansproject version of the triple-changer SPRINGER out in 1986 (Transformers G1) by Takara.
Regarding the quality of this toy, the design, diecast content and plastic quality (forget resin), it's not so expensive...
Fansproject is not a big company like Takara or hasbro... creating steel molds for production is very expensive...
As an exemple, Master Collectors were not so luky (or fortunate) to release the nova Prime in plastic but resin... Studio half Eye too...
More piece contents you have to complete the design, more money you have to spend in the mold process.
I know what I am talking about...
(link to my friend Denis from Lelab Toys... -> I am a part of a limited toy production process)
^__^
I would better buy the Fansproject releases than the ROTF or whatever releases from Takara or "Hasbro-plastics-sucks"...
With this, I give my (financial) support to their young company...
Buying their toys threw any official dealers create calls from customers and restock demand...
So it will boost their sale process and put them on a good position on toy market.
-> Then they will be abble for the future to have a real mass production with lower prices...
and maybe create their own licence and original design... we too much have transformers and gundam toys... it's time for new.
[I just made an offer to them to be a part in the packaging design process but I just pass threw the official e-mail...
If anyone have a direct mail from a Fansproject member... it could helpfull... -> pm]
