Bump. I don't have any tins. But, I rarely see anyone showing off theirs and sharing some "toyopsies" about their tins. Its nice to learn where its made, by who, and its anime/manga origins. Perhaps folks are shy about it, or whatever. I may not collect certain or specific types of specimens; but every now and then I like to visit threads I thought would be of no interest to me, and I'm delighted by what I see and the new stuff I learn around here. Got tin? Show tin. zozo-Magengar

Hey, Welcome to RJ J10!
Now THAT's a lotta Beautiful tin robot toys there! Some of those Ultramen tins look as though you can remove the Ultra masks to show the human "pilot"*** ....Cool!
Many of these tins remind me of the tin choo-choo train toys and walking robot toys of my early childhood. The favorite christmas gift I always got for several years in a row was a walking robot that took a few steps, stopped, opened its chest and fired two guns while rotating at the torso, then walk on a few steps more, etc... ...I guess my mom knew I had a fondness for robots, even at a very young age.
***Ultramen are not piloted. They are ETs assimilating humanoid form, or are humans endowed with Ultra powers. In either case, the human would be the "vessel" or "capsule" to contain the Ultra power, until it is summoned into reality to transform the human into an Ultraman. PLEASE Correct Me If I'm Wrong about this! ;D
Thanks for showing!

Here is another one I just picked up. Only the second one I have seen MIB. Lost out on the first one 3 times since 2004! Had some toy karma left to score this I guess. This is the first version KR with the non removable helmet. Angel, as far as I know made only this and the version 2 with removable mask. They did however make another KR tin toy, a flying figure with wheels. Still waiting for it in the mail, but am excited to reunite him with his brother.

Hey guys, I thought this might interest those of you into tin... I submit to you one of my all time favorite toys. The Ohgon Bat wind up from Nomura, made in 1966. Minty in a very minty box. The box almost made me teary eyed. ;-) Attachments:
