www.hlj.com/product/MAX06110This came as a big surprise to me since Max Factory has been on hiatus from making serious robots/figures for awhile, but it looks like they've got things rolling again. Although I'm stoked to finally see this awesome Mirabilis figure, it's almost more exciting for me to think that we might finally see Arkanfel. I've only been waiting for..what is it now, four years..but it's only one figure away after Mirabilis!

yeah they block just about everything (especially foriegn sites) except for this site (and very few others).
SOG needs to be changed to SEG.... super expensive guy lol...... but they do make some nice figures. However, so does Bandai SIC line which (even though they are considered expensive) are cheaper then SOG. They also usually come with more accessories, sometimes an extra figure, and have some diecast in them. I dont know why SOG costs more, and to think that the same designer does both lines!!

Almost missed this Early Bird when I saw the title "Mirabillis", as I only know him as Imakarum or Murakami, and was discussing it on the Guyver thread in the General Discussion section. Good that I peeked. Wallet is crying right now, but its for the better good.

Well, this might not be the sought after Murakami I'm looking for, but it is the next best thing.
Thanks for the link!

Aside from Murakami being an older figures in the Guyver line, I also thought Murakami was an entirely different character. Am I wrong on this?

For what I have been able to pick up, this IS Murakami, which evolved into a Zeolord(?)... }D

This is Murakami's "powered-up" form, essentially. He was badly injured (killed?) by Guyot in his original proto-Zoalord form (the first Murakami figure). Then he was resurrected as this version for the purpose of fighting crime and keeping kids away from drugs. Sort of like McGruff, the crime dog. LOL...keeping kids away from drugs. For those that are less familiar with the Guyver comics, Imakarum is literally Murakami, spelling backwards. He got a lot more powerful in this form.

I've been waiting for this figure for a couple of years now. I'm really just shocked how sudden this came out after the long gap. I really hope the release exceed and archanfel ;D

Just getting back up to speed with the hobby after a self-enforced hiatus and as excited as I was about Revoltech Gamera, this has really got me looking forward to its release. If he does make it out of the factory, it will be tough to decide which display option to go for but the human form just shades it for me.

Just got him yesterday! So cool! Cool! How tall is he? After scouting around, I'm in a bit of quandary over this guy. I'd like him as I have the 3 guyvers from the line, Murakami and Guyot... but it would cost 100 pounds (Seriously!) to get Imakarum to my house safe and sound from HK or Japan. That's a lot of money for a figure, albeit a very good one. I can afford it but think it's far too excessive consider what you pay for a Figuarts which is only a little less quality but a fifth of the price. However, this Guyver line can be like hen's teeth before you know it and then the price goes up in the after-market.

Opeth7, I would say go for it while you can still get it for a discount (amiami.com, with 50% off on shipping this month), especially with what you have. Murakami & Gyuot is begging to have Imakarum to complete its family. Like you said, this line will only go up in price later. Mine is on its way.

I'm not at home so I can't measure him, but from the very top of his antenna I would guess he's around 20-25 cm, so fairly tall. I know what you are saying with the price. He is way too expensive for an action figure, but I would think Imakarum will always be more expensive in the aftermarket if only because the print run is fairly low. As always it all comes down to how much you really like him and whether you can afford it. Ugh. Good luck!

Ok, I measured him up and he is roughly 24 cm. or 9.25 inches.
