Nov - December fundraw.. Robot & pilot .No personal creation. reinterpretation is ok.
Robot and it's pilot. In however you want to interpret it. It has to have a shot of the robot and the pilot. The pilot cant be microscopic... and the robot should'nt just be a close up shot of the cockpit. both robot and its pilot must have fair representation(not necessarily meaning that both have to be 50/50 in space compared to the drawing area) . represent as if it was a poster.

So... is it confined only to original bot and pilot releases. Personal creation, meaning super robot created by pure imagination, is not allowable?? Just asking for clarification... (",)

OMG...Now I've read Everything!.... ....soooo many robots and pilots, and You're Not sure what to do? ;D There's this website known as RobotJapan... (I'm just kiddin, I was only buggin out with ya) ;D zozo-Magengar PS: Does this subject fundraw have to be Drawn (as in Pencil/Paper)? Or can it be other mediums like a 3D image? (ya know I'll whip one up of my favorite robot/pilot asap, heheheheh) I am still unsure of what I might do, but I will start this week.

Any medium... coOol!
I'll try a 3D rendition first. Then I'll try a paper sketch now that I've just recently found a Microtek Scanmaker 3600 outside on the curb (a neighbor tossed it out)... it works good as new, with usb cables and powercord-- all I had to do was d/l the drivers off Microtek's website and I got it running. Now to learn how to scan good-quality images so I can share hand-drawn artwork here. Ha! ;D

Reinterpretation can apply to non-mecha characters? I´m thinking ´bout armored characters , superheroes to be exact, like Steel or Iron Man, kinda like marvel Megamorphs.

Here's my Robot/pilot. I really can't categorize this as a "drawing" by artistic standards, because I haven't felt inspired to actually draw this on paper. Someday, when i'm in a better peace of mind, I will make an actual sketch of this image. It's actually my 3D work-in-progress for my current DoGA CGA Mazinger-tribute fanmovie project "Mazinger-Z: Ashura's Revenge". PS: I've been playing with this project since 2006... and I now Finally model Koji's hairdo right! ;D ;D ;D You like? Feel free to download this as your own wallpaper! zozo-Magengar

Thanks, mojacko! I've just replaced the Maz/Koji image above with a better more finished version... this time Koji's hair is touched up with a couple extra hair-bangs one behind each ear, and an extra pompadour bang in front of his forehead for that classic "Sonic The Hedgehog" look <LOL>; his uniformed version has his lasergun; and I've mirrored a reassembled Koji model wearing his classic civilian clothes. The project is coming along better than i had expected. Until I get a brand new computer with dual-core processing I'll just keep remodeling ALL of my project characters which had gotten lost in my previous harddrive crash several months ago. Once I get the new computer I will start animating and compiling the scenes to produce the finalized movie as quickly as possible. Thanks to everyone for your patience. ;D zozo-Magengar

I finally started on mine. I am working on a character/ robot that I am very unfamiliar with, so I hope I do it justice.

Sweet!!! You hit it right on the mark, Coldiron; great job there! Just because the great Mazinger series is Japanese, we forget that Jun Ono is half-Black/half-Japanese... ...which explains why she is of a dark complexion. Keep em coming! zozo-magengar
