Does anyone else pre-ordered at Robot Kingdom?
This is the first time I use their service, I paid out for my pre-order, but then had to change my shipping address. I've since emailed them 3 0r 4 times, but there has not been any replies. Are they waiting for the items to be in stock before replying to my shipping address change?
Can anyone who has shopped at robot kingdom confirm whether this is their usual practice?

I just received an email from Robot Kingdom : "Start shipping out next week". YEAH !
About RK, sometimes they take time to answer, but no worry, they read the emails. -> allways write your order number in your email title, it helps. Robot Kingdom is a thrusted and reliable company. I order a lot of transformers from them (no custom fee...) and shipping boxes are very safe.

Yeah, I got that e-mail too. Glad I already preordered my PP01 second run. Its also good they gave a notice so everyone still has time to preorder before the increase. Makes you wonder how much the Coneheads will cost. They may be the sime height, but they do have more parts and are much bulkier than the PP01.

Did anyone get a notice from TFSource yet? They said they would be shipping Fri/Sat. I did not get a notice and I placed my order in February. I would think that has to be near the beginning of their list of preorders.

Well, I suppose I can always intercept the package at the post office... Got my shipping notice on Saturday, stating that they have shipped on the 26th of August. At least that's some happy news ;D

Anyone: These things look pretty cool. Are they actually plastic, or resin? How sturdy are they? Are they comparable to regular mass-produced figures when it comes to durability/sturdiness?

Anyone: These things look pretty cool. Are they actually plastic, or resin? How sturdy are they? Are they comparable to regular mass-produced figures when it comes to durability/sturdiness? Here's my little review. The set as a whole comes together fairly well and looks great as Bruticus. Both Explorer's (Blastoff) and Munitioner's (Swindle) plastic quality seems a little brittle compared to the City Commander versions though. Transforming them is a little scary at first since it's not as simple as the Hasbro bots. I get that same scary feeling when attaching City Commander's feet to the Hasbro OP figure (remember the whole feeling of putting too much force may destroy an expensive investment....), but it seems they are fairly durable once you get used to it. Overall the add-on set comes together and meshes seamlessly with ROTF Bruticus, and it seems the paint scheme was really meant for the ROTF Bruticus. A few of my nitpicks which makes the toy a bit fiddly IMO - mostly peg connection issues. 1. The backpack pegs just aren't long enough to attach to Onslaught's back holes so it does come off easily. The shotguns don't attach too well to the backpack either and clearance issues is something to contend with, and at times affects some of the shoulder posability. 2. The wrist pegs should've been balljoints to give the wrist-hand posability. Also, the wrist pegs do seem a little fragile - so be careful with too much posing or turning. The Explorer (Blastoff) wrist peg is also a little bit on the limp side and it seems the nailpolish fix won't be a solution. 3. The forearm armor (that attaches to Vortex) seems a little loose on mine and slides off Vortex's legs fairly easily. 4. The accessories for Vortex's and Onslaught's Robot modes could've been designed to have better attachments. Onslaught's missle launchers pegs to his shoulders and comes off easily. 5. Vortex's launchers in helicopter mode just doesn't peg so well because of the holes not being deep enough (due to the width of those folding flaps). 6. The crotch armor piece comes off fairly easily and could been better designed to not get in the way of posability. I may have to trim some plastic off the bottom of the crotch piece to not be knocked off by the inside thighs of Bruticus when posing. The pegs could also been longer to attach to both the crotch and the cannons. 7. The pegs and holes for the feet are specific to Swindle and Brawl. You won't be interchanging the left foot to the right foot. They do stay on really well though. Is it worth 50 bucks for each set? Now that I have it in hand, I think both should've been priced at 30-35 bucks a set. I'm still happy though to have them. You get so much more than the Superion appendage add-on set but at least the MSRP for Superion's add-on seemed a bit more fair for what you get. But there is no denying that Bruticus just looks so damn good now! And he now has shelf presence which he didn't have before. Sorry for not having any pics, there are plenty on the net already... and I'm sure Gold will be giving a more indepth review with better pictures than I could ever take.

I gotta say I definitely agree with points 1, 2 and 6. Oh and yes the plastic quality does feel like a step down from Defender and the City Commander armors. I've discovered that the back cannons for Bruticus mode can be firmly attached if you unlock the left arm on onslaught. This allows for Onslaught's arm pegs to be straightened out and capable of having the pegs pushed in. About point 2 yes the socket where Bruticus' hands attach are fragile! The plastic is a bit thin ( transparent in the sun) around the socket and so even if your careful I think you'll be seeing stress marks soon. Hell on day 1 I had this set I got stress marks where the socket is for the hands and I wasn't even being rough with it. On mine the crouch armor seems to attach pretty firmly and is held on with an audible click! Aside from the bad stuff, Blast off and Swindle are fun little dudes that look pretty sharp and makes me wish we had a Bruticus set made from the ground up. Combined mode is huge and imposing, definitely the way a combiner should be. I happy with my set, but I guess with the hype and the praise I gave FP for this set I was expecting something a little more durable and fiddling friendly, but now I'm kinda left with two completed model kits that I have to handle with a good amount of care.

I agree. Forgot to mention that Munitioner and Explorer look much more improved compared to their Hasbro counterparts. My only other gripe with this set is they do look a little out of place if you look closely, besides the missing decepticon emblems, because they do make the other Habro robots appear simple and obsolete.
I also don't like how the new FP head has affected Onslaught's transformation and is exposed when he is in his robot mode. The only way to slightly hide it is by attaching the feet/missile launchers to his shoulders. I have a second set and I have kept the original head for this reason, but I use them mostly to display the accessories in vehicle modes (but when in combined form, I do like the thought of having a twin for Bruticus with a different head and I have named him Brutus, and attach the shotguns to Onslaught's little hands for what looks like 4 cannons to differentiate him... heh).
I'm in the same boat waiting for the Defender (Rodimus upgrade set) and can't wait to see the all FP Glacial-bots combiner. Yep, I've become a FP w h o r e!

Yep, I've become a FP w h o r e! I said it many times, without Fansproject, I would not care for these regular issue Hasbro toys. With Fansproject, they become collectibles pieces with reason for me to display them inside glass display cubicles. I was thinking of getting a second sets of these Fansproject X-Fire 2 because all I need is to get a Energon Barricade figure and I can complete a second Bruticus, since I will have a extra Blastoff and Swindle.
