Hey Toku fans, here's a good question for you, who's your favorite tokusatsu character?

The original Ultraman; and the live-action version Guyver; and my all-time favorite: China's Super Inframan. I really haven't watched many toku shows in my time; except the Goranger series back in the mid-'70s... ...that show is also my favorite.

My favorite toku series has to be GARO. There hasnt been a bad-ass like him since. ;D Im just waiting for the next real serious Toku show like this to pop up. i've been pretty pissed as of late. There's been no real good live action shows lately.

I will always have a soft spot for KR Faiz because it was the first time I actually sat down to watch a fully fansubbed toku series. It's too bad I'm forced to ignore that somewhat ambiguous conclusion (was our hero really an orphenoc all along and why? And what of his origins?)... and the Paradise Lost movie, while cool to introduce a bunch of new suit variations, didn't help matters much with its alternate-universe twist. I also liked Ultraman Nexus quite a bit... it was a refreshing take on Ultraman (tho, I could understand why the purists didn't like it). Tiga was okay - I wish somebody would release Final Odessey. I only have this crappy VCD I picked up used at a convention a couple of years ago. Oh wait... my real favourite toku hero... the Cutey Honey live-action movie. She was hilariously awesome!

Ultra Seven of course! The "Bad-ass" Ultra from M-78 who did not think twice about taking some alien's head off or split them in half with his Eye Slugger!!!

Geki-Blue or Magi-Green. Ultraman the USA was my first Toku. Kiva as rider is great, but i did not like his human form.
