This is Tamashii limited Armed Hibiki. It's the final form of Kamen rider Hibiki from the show that bares the same name. you can read more about it here. en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Kamen_Rider_Hibiki_%28character%29Detail, Well it's pretty obvious that he's going to be detailed and boy is he. His armor is that of a samurai warrior looks very nice. Armaments' , He comes with two Rekka, Armed Saber, and about 6 data animal discs, oh and a tuning fork lol. He also comes with three transformed disc animals All items store nicely on his back. Mobility Well most of us know that the older sic figures were a bit restricted, well armored is probably among the most restricted, he has all basic movement but he range of motion is very limited in all areas due to the rigid armor (especially the arms where he can't even straighten his arms). She standing still kind of looks funny, still you can get some decent poses out of him. One thing to note is the figure is light on diecast, one trademark of SIC is some good diecast pieces, here the only things that are diecast are two of the disk animals and his belt buckle........ somewhat disappointing for something that has armor in his name (sorta) and for a rather pricey figure. Recommendations? hard to say, you have to really be a fan to want this. More so since it's a limited edition and its pretty damn expensive. I managed to find one for a good deal from Tokyo hunter but it's still expensive. So, it depends on how bad you want it, but be prepared to spend around 150 for it. ouch!

Hibiki is my favorite among the Heisei Riders and I look forward to owning one of these sooner or later. I really like the way the SIC designed the Hibiki characters so I really want to complete them as much as I can. Nice photos by the way, really love the bulky samurai look of it!

thanks! concentrating on only one line of Kamen rider is a lot easier then trying to complete them all i can assure you. However, Sic is a hard line to play catch up with!! I can attest to that

Yeah, SIC is one of those toylines where the price really appreciates especially on exclusives. So far I'm happy to have preordered the 4-pack Oni set to be released this mid-March. Then hopefully I can get my hands on the Ibuki-Zanki and the Hibiki Kurenai-Todoroki sets.

Say, how does the grip of the sword feel for this figure? Because for my regular Armed Hibiki he can't hold the sword properly and I have to use the drumstick hands for holding it more securely.

not very good actually and he doesnt have a hand specifically for the sword either. Its one problem i notice across the board for many of the figures.
