Thank you all together now except for the gun starting with the main body of it, its got teeth round it so I found a tiny gear, cut the middle out and will mount on the end. This whole piece will be black so a lot of the detail will be lost. This whole part on the real model is moulded from one lump, so long as I can get close to the shapes i'll be happy! screw through the top mounts it to the big block the shute for the ammo another little thing that sits on the top mounted up

Thank you, really, thanks attached the ammo shute via a screw from underneath (hidden) made a little geared wheel thing thats supposed to be the motor that rotates the gun and another .... cylinder.. thing, too small for my camera to focus on all apart again, now on the back it has 2 hydraulic fittings medium and small, which are? ....... thats right 4mm and 5mm. The gun has lots of these fittings, 10+ I havnt counted them all yet! just doing them as I see them. oh look another fitting ... oh and another, getting like wheres wally

We really appreciate your work man. Always looking forward to see your updates. How much does this weigh now? What do you think will the final weight on this when it's all finished?

its heavy, the final thing will weigh a lot. Got everything bolted up now, another little cylinder thing on the back: making a start on the barrels, settled n 3.2mm for the width of the barrels. I was hoping I could use styrene for them but they seem to want to flex. trimmed these down and cut a groove in one although I think its too small now looking at the pics mock up looks ok, im not happy with the styrene so I have ordered some 3.2mm aluminium tube, im all out of 20mm rod so I cant remake the other bit either!

Time for some styrene, the glue I got is for styrene and it kinda melts it as it sticks so when dry it makes an almost seamless join, like a weld. this part wasnt really possible in delrin, to machine it out of a solid block would have been unnecessary as it looks to be pretty thin all over. some paint mounted up and the two little tags added with super small hex bolts.

Thanks guys got my tube through, 3.2mm aluminium, now cut to size and I had to remake a couple of the disks too as they looked wrong. all together and straight, tight fit though This is the 3rd atempt and took 2 hours, I didnt know how I was going to make it so just had to get stuck in! First take a solid bit of bar and turn a shoulder on the end, then the cone, then drill through the middle, then hold the shoulder and cut a slot one was with the slitting saw, then (with plenty of lube) turn 90 degrees and carefully cut the last slot. so thin at the end, very delicate now make 5 more exactly the same! they took about 20 mins each, easy when you know how! mmmmmmm barrell tipsss mounted up,
